The history of how this magic bugle appeared is rooted in distant, transient times, in the bloody war between the Gnomes and the Dwarves. The bloodthirsty and unprincipled Dwarves, realising that an honest battle would lead to many casualties on both sides, tried to win by intimidating the Gnomes with a forbidden magic, which severed the threads between body and soul. Thus, the immortal soul of a Gnome would be doomed to eternal wandering and torment. The Gnomes did not wait to respond and created this bugle, forged from the rays of the setting sun and drops of the morning dew. Its contours are fragile and intangible, but any wraith that blows into it finds itself in the spirit world where it can reconnect the severed threads to its body.
