my password was not working so i changed it and now i have been imprisoned indefinitely. Why?

Hmmm... just signed my Dad up to play today... his password not working either, and game said would send p/w to his gmail... but that also has not happened. Can you advise so he can play?? Don't want him jailed....
His mane: golferpro1 and made it to lvl2, i think....
