Cerberus Tongue

I recently killed a Cerberus with a group of 5 people, others got a tounge, but I did not. I looked in my completed quests and it does have:
Studying the Cerberus Tongue Guidebook
Using the Guidebook found in the Old Library and with the Wise man's help you have learned to collect Cerberus Tongues.

I never got the tounge or the 10 jug. rep. Some help here would be useful.
