uninvited guest [4] loophole?

I'm seeing several naked hunters repeat this battle several times in a row even though they win. is this a loophole or are they not getting credit when they do no damage?
for instance (not to pick on this player as I have seen several others):

when I fight I cannot repeat the battle till next day.

I tried doing one or two of the charter quests naked, but soon figured that you must be alive at end of fight to get the credits...
Not sure on the validity of this, whether I just had bad luck, but have always done these dressed now, the exp is still minimal and acceptable if done properly
