the mouth of fortune took too much silver

I got bored and threw 10 silver into the mouth of fortune and as usual, got nothing, but two messages came up in the dialogue box. I checked my money and i lost 20silver instead of 10. I told a mentor and they told me to post it here. Can you do anything about this?
