Forum profile age?

So I decided I will be 100 years old, so people respect me and all. But that's not the point, point is: why can't we fool with age on forum? I tried setting my year of birth to 1066, but it went telling me my age is wrong.

This is ridiculous since obviously the forum does not know my age, thence it can't check if I enter right numbers, so what for put that restriction at all? If someone would want to fool around and put like 2000 years old in profile, would it hurt anyone? Just plain stupid.

It's a sign of wod to tell people who are over 100 years that they are just too old to play video games :(
