Missions of the Firstborn are scrolls received from monsters and various events or promotions. For example: Simple and Ordinary Missions of the Firstborn are received by hunting monsters (the monster should not be lower than 1 level below player level), the Difficult, Hard and Legendary Missions of the Firstborn are received via taking part in Valuable Chests event or in Smuggled Bags as well as various different events.
The difference between these quests are, as their names suggest, their difficulties and their rewards. Basically the harder the quest, the more its rewards will be.
For example, a gray scroll (Simple Mission of the First Born) is this: "[Mission] Master Dodger I" the quest requires the player to choose the dodger set in a battlefield in the past and kill 2 enemies (or deal the highest damage to two enemies in a fight, which counts as killing them). Its rewards are 1800-51700 valor & glory according to level, 1 Sacrificial coin, 1 Arbiters of Fate reputation and 2 scalps.

But a purple scroll (Hard Mission of the Firstborn) is this: "[Mission] Master Heavyweight IV" which requires the player to choose the heavyweight set in a battlefield of the past and kill 10 enemies (same rule applies here about dealing the highest damage) there. As expected, its rewards are higher than the gray quest. It rewards the player with 21700-620000 valor & glory according to their level, 12 sacrificial coins, 12 arbiters of fate reputation and 10 scalps upon completion.

That's all there is for Missions of the Firstborn.
It's better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. What's even better is to weaponize your words to destroy anyone who dares challenge you.

Where can you get a mission?

1) Grey and green Mission-Scrolls can be optained hen killing monsters of your level
(or monsters -1 to your level)
2) Blue, violet and red Mission-Scrolls can be optained by participating in events or promotions, from precious chests, smuggle bags etc.

What are the differences?

Missions differ in task, quality and reward.

Tasks for exampe:
1) kill opposite warriors any way
2) kill opposite warriors, using a special fighting style
3) win consecutive caves

Rewards refering to Quality
2-8 scalps. 2-? consecutive wins brings scalps. REP and valor in different amount,
also referring to your fighters level

As you can choose tasks with declining and taking new one you can prepare yourself
in your personal style of useful rewards.

To get an impression about different tasks and amount of outcome
you can check list of reported missions in the following thread
