[NOVEMBER] Who let the dragons out?

Warrior! Let's save the little dragons from Faeo's inhabitants!

Your Task:

Create a Dragon Jar with the following instructions. The idea is not to copy this jar exactly, but to personalise it and your dragon.
All entries must include a handwritten note displaying your in-game character name. You may not post on behalf of other players. Entries must include the direct weblink to the image to be valid. Images without weblinks or without names, will be deemed invalid.

Materials required:
  • large glass Jar or Container with a lid or cover
  • Acrylic paints and brushes
  • Powder, sand, glitter, etc.
  • Craft glue
  • A dragon (on cardboard or on other materials using Plotter for example)
  • Decoration of your choice for your jar (e.g. cord, pendant, the options are limited only by your imagination!), if necessary use a hot glue gun

Crafting instructions
  1. Mix white acrylic paint with water
  2. Paint the milky mixture inside the glass jar, then coat the outside and let it dry
  3. Do a second coat inside and out, leave to dry
  4. Add colorful accents with another acrylic paint-water mixture and let it dry
  5. Use transparent glue and your choice of powder, glitter, moss etc. to spice up the glass
  6. Fix your dragon into the jar
  7. Paint the lid or cover the jar with fabric and a rubber band as you wish
  8. You can decorate with a cord and pendants for example, be as creative as you like

Place the finished jar in a bright place, for example on a windowsill. The light that shines through the glass makes the dragon appear as a silhouette.
Alternatively, you can place the glass in front of a light source, such as a string of lights or drop a battery powered candle inside the jar.

Note: Have fun with your dragon jars! And be careful, dragons aren't designed to be locked up - just keep the lid tightly shut once it's closed!

My dragon is still a baby who likes to play in the Carefree Meadows, but one day he will grow up and be majestic. ;)
