The invasion just wouldn't let up, it was a pure disaster. Faeo's healers had their hands full healing the numerous wounds of the inhabitants and warriors. Chaos and disorder were the order of the day and the elders and wise men were struggling to lead everyone through this crisis. The  Jesters actually loved a colorful mess, but not under these circumstances. Even their friends, the monkeys, clung tightly to them instead of jumping around and getting up to mischief. The team was on their way to the town square when the entire area was shaken by a massive earthquake. Everything that wasn't nailed down fell over or down. Even a few inhabitants landed roughly on the ground.
The hole from which the Kretch poured seemed to tremble and large feet dragged a heavy body through the narrow tunnel.
