An unexpected threat
(I'll start then. Hope the double-structure isn't too confusing, it is meant to be a piece of information that can be spread both by word of mouth and in writing. Note: No AI involved, I only used the LEO dictionary on occasions.)
------------------------------
Introductory part: To get the citizens' attention. [Oral transmission]
Hear ye, hear ye, good people of Faeo! Suspend your gossip, you fishwives and tattlers! Drop your swords anon, brave warriors! Cease your hammering, strong craftsmen! And you your lumbering, bold axemen! Children, interrupt your games just now and gather around! Gather around, all you good people of Faeo, and listen to this premonition! A danger approaches!
Main part: The actual article. [Written transmission, read aloud and then distributed in paper form by the socializers]
Intro. A plague has appeared. For nearly two moons now, reports about marauding kretch gangs throughout the lands and villages of Faeo have been continually increasing in numbers. To be honest, this shocking event came out of the blue, and even our high-placed sources cannot fully explain its appearance. Here's what we know so far.
Main part. Alarmingly, all regions of Ogrij and Khair seem to be affected by this sudden flaw, the first news of which reached our headquarters in the person of a messenger from a small Baurvill village. She told us about three extremely aggressive kretch leaders with weird red bumps on their heads, screeching loudly, vandalizing whatever they came upon, but fleeing into the night when more and more villagers started to notice them and exit their houses with torches aflame. We immediately sent a collaborator to confirm the disturbing tale.
Since then, the situation looks to be escalating and expanding at high speed. Not long ago we were handed over scrolls from as far away as Triwerion, where trampled plants and illegally skimmed gems threaten the balance of the ecosystem, but also accounts from down the Shuar Forests about rotting corpses of Pkhadds and Kodrags fouling the delicate greenwood soil. Hamlets in the Prairies, in Aleweya and the Steppe deplore abducted children (eight confirmed cases), many injured farmers and guards(wo)men, as well as massacred farm animals in the hundreds. And the rat mobs do not seem to stop there: recently, bigger villages have been attacked, sometimes in waves of marauders and even during broad daylight; estate walls have also been climbed, repositories plundered, even kennels destroyed. Nor do the - often small and thereby highly mobile! - kretch squads seem to shy away from crossing natural borders: they have been sighted steering cogs onto the waters of the Balluar Ocean and trying to board the ships Khavr and Gaar like the pirates of old, presumably in an effort to enter the Red continent or invade new areas (reports about the involvement of the strongly present iguraons there differ, as we hear of collaborations as well as skirmishes between the two species).
These are alarming news indeed. Speculations pop up all-around, with some suspecting a Magmar ploy (unlikely, since our neighbors are affected as well), others an inevitable epidemic plague, be it for religious, for sanitary or environmental reasons. Talks about the big red bumps on the heads of the kretches being encapsulated dragon fire from an evil underground wyvern about to rise up have been overheard by our informants at Marie's as well as up north in Grandfort, and more outlandish theories may soon follow... Nothing can be said with certainty, and we refuse to add to the confusion about why this is happening. But whether you have been affected by the rampant invasion or not, caution is advised. We stongly urge you to have guards patrolling day and night, all gates in and out of the villages tightly secured, animals sheltered close to home. Torches are distributed free of charge in the city square, spears, bows and arrows can be bought in bulk for small coin at the artisan shops. Furthermore, we are informed about efforts on the part of the commanders-in-chief as well as the Underground Knights to mount a special Anti-Kretch troupe; flyers in every corner of the continent give notice to able hands (age fourteen to 65, with or without fighting expierience) eager to help in preventing the spread of the plague.
End part: To keep the people up-to-date. [Written and oral transmission]
Conclusion. Citizens, we socializers will do whatever is necessary to provide you with all the information we can gather about this lingering crisis, and in as timely a manner as anywise possible. We'll be sending emissaries into the far reaches of the continent that will deliver to you oral and swritten accounts of the latest developments. Be on the lookout for our collaborators, and perk up your ears for our bells! Meanwhile, good citizens, may peace be upon you all!

People of Faeo, a blood-curdling cry echoes across the lands — the Kretches have invaded! No longer mere cave-crawlers, these savage beasts now march in organized packs, destroying everything in their path. The age of comfort is over. The age of resistance has begun.
The invasion began before midnight in the Underground Passage where Kretches nests and have gone on an outbreak in which massive destruction have quickly spread to the Capitals and now have reached Vurdaliya and Virigiya Districts! Scholars believe that the recent exploitations of their sacred Kretch ground have caused their outrage and have resorted to call of their Kretch overlord to form a dark alliance with the forces of Chaos giving them dark and chaos magic. If left unneutralized, this may lead to a total mayhem.
Now is the time to stand united so sharpen your blades, ready your spells, and answer the call to arms! Great Rewards are waiting for our defenders so report to your capital and protect our lands.

Faeo Alert: Kretches Invasion Threatens Our Lands!
Faeo is under siege! A shadow darker than the blackest obsidian has fallen upon Faeo. A relentless horde of Kretches has erupted from the shadows, their gleaming claws and venomous red eyes tearing through our beloved Khair and beyond. These armored rats, once confined to the depths, now swarm our homeland: villages, fields, and forests, leaving chaos in their wake. Magmars of Khair, this is our fight! Our brave Help Structures and warriors are battling back, and they need your strength to turn the tide. The skies have darkened, the fog has thickened - will you stand with us to save Faeo?
The Invasion Unfolds
Just days ago - on the eve of the Long Moon (May 28, Year of the Ember Heart) - an earthquake-like tremor shattered the quiet of the Kretches' Lair beneath the Highlands of Terror.
The culprits - er, heroes - of this mess are none other than our own Help Structures: the disciplined Guards, the wise Mentors, the precise Heralds, the devout Consecrators, the chatty Socializers, the rule-keeping Discord Moderators, and, of course, the perpetually tardy Jesters. After a long day of work, our Help Structures decided to unwind with a little weapon-swinging in the Kretches' Lair. Their powerful blows, together with the power of their magical pet friends, created an explosive force that shattered the barrier between the Lair and the outside world. The cavern walls gave way, and thousands of enraged Kretches poured onto the surface - hungry for revenge, and for flesh.
Warriors, Faeo is in peril! Fields lie in ruins, villages burn, and the Kretches' numbers swell daily. The skies are dark, the air heavy with fog, and fear grips even the stoutest hearts. But there's hope: the Structures have united, old rivalries forgotten, and they're calling on you to fight back.
Protect Yourself: Four Essential Tips for Survival
- Fortify your estate
Reinforce the entrance gates, finally get down to repairing the holes in the wall you have been putting off for the last two years. - Stay Informed
Tune into the Socializers and their updates. They're tracking Kretch movements with the help of their Munkeys, so you'll know where to steer clear - or where to swing your axe. Knowledge is your first line of defense. - Travel in Groups
Alone, a Kretch is trouble. In packs? Deadly. Team up with fellow warriors - anyone with a weapon and a will to fight. Together, we're unstoppable. - Solve the Riddles
The Mentors have uncovered that brute force won’t win this war alone. Tackle the challenges and riddles they've set - your sharp Magmar mind could unlock the secret to crippling the Kretches' hold on Faeo.
The Time to Act is Now
Faeo's fate hangs in the balance, Magmars of Khair. We are more ferocious than the Kretches. Our warriors rise, our spirit burns hotter than Khair's forges, and our Help Structures stand together. We will not allow a bunch of red-eyed rats to take over this land; it belongs to us!
Are you going to answer the call? Will you stand shoulder to shoulder with your family, solve the puzzles, and swing your weapon? Even though the Kretches initiated this battle, we will all work together to see it through. For Khair, for Faeo, for all of us!
EMERGENCY: KRETCH INVASION WREAKS HAVOC ON FAEO - IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES FOR ALL INHABITANTS
Introduction
The Faeo territories have been attacked by an unidentified species of beasts known as Kretch. The red-eyed carnivorous creatures have initiated a ruthless invasion that at this point in time is the most hazardous threat to the security of all the continent's inhabitants. Situation demands immediate response and compliance with the safety measures.
Main Part
Kretches, bloodshot creatures whose own origins remain a mystery, are the masterndercts behind this catastrophe. The invasion spread its effect across the entire continent of Faeo - from herbologists settlements, through geologists' tunnels, to fishing grounds. No one is safe.
The assault began some time ago but is growing at lightning speed. Kretches appeared out of nowhere and launched concerted attacks on all fronts simultaneously. They appear in pairs and small groups, systematically annihilating everything in their path.
The Kretches mode of attack is brutal and systematic. They overwhelm native defenses, sheer numbers and ferocity having left no opportunity to mobilize any defense. Their characteristic red eyes can be seen in the distance, but warning tends to come too late.
While it is not known why they attacked, Kretches appear to be driven by an insatiable hunger for land and resources. They do not have mercy on citizens and systematically occupy strategic locations.
The impact is catastrophic to Faeo's entire economy. Kretches have destroyed crops of Mistletoe, Thistle, and Clover, rendering citizens in short supply of basic herbal materials. They have contaminated water sources, rendering fishermen incapable of extracting fish used to gain Architects' reputation. More deplorably, the creatures have sought shelter in mines from which Geologists previously extracted precious stones essential to make equipment runes.
Safety measures for citizens:
1. NEVER TRAVEL ALONE - Always travel in threes or more people. Kretches hunt in pairs, so larger groups are secure.
2. AVOID OPEN AREAS DURING DAYLIGHT - Use covered routes and take trips at dawn or dusk when Kretches are not active.
3. CREATE COMMUNITY WATCH - Organize with neighbors to alternate on sentry duty. Red eyes of Kretches are distant, giving time to strengthen defenses.
Conclusion
The attack by Kretches is a first in threatening Faeo, paralyzing major economic hubs, and forcing citizens to evacuate homes, The crisis has also unified society more closely together - citizens are banding together, creating neighborhood defense units and mutual assistance systems.
In spite of the dramatic circumstances, the will and unity of the residents offer a chance that this crisis can be overcome. All must be cautious, follow safety practices, and watch out for each other. Faeo's brave warriors stand ready to defend their homeland. With proper preparation and solidarity, Faeo will endure this tempest and emerge from it stronger.
Stay updated, stay together, stay alive. Faeo shall prevail!

Our top elite team of Socializer have been assigned as
scout team to check out these rumble and grumble noise at the
entrance of Kretch's Lair. At first,
our team survey the condition of the local area by interviewing the warriors
at the area, Centurion Mekden and Commander Norias.
Centurion Mekden said, " These foul smelled vermins are becoming more
dangerous! They no longer fear the daylights. Now they are inciting the
surrounding passive kretches to be angrier and even more ruthless.
Commander Norias on the other hand said," We have kill this again and
again, there are more of them kept pouring out from those lairs. Even
barricading the entrance won't make a difference. Something are forcing these
creature to become ferals...
With those warnings ahead, our Socializer team went ahead to meet with the
rulers. Unfortunately Ruler Pireney had his hands occupied with these frenzy
vermins and would't speak to us the reason for this outbreak. However, Ruler
Onufir mentioned that the continous raid into the lair has caused the Butcher
to take a step forward. Seeing its colony getting slaughtered every day,
Butcher wanted Revenge! This incite was confirmed by Chief Kort who guards
the Settlement of Klesva. Chief Kort said that the recent surface of Kretch
Argash few years back, made Butcher more feral, more aggresive and seeking
bloods of the residents either magmars or humans, it doesn't make a
difference.
Chief Torgor are giving out warnings to all the local residents even
contacted Chief Kort to informed that more and more local farm animals are
being ruthlessly slaugthered by the vermins. These creature are not looking
to feast them but instead drain the the food source for the warriors! Merely
attacking head on would not be enough. These creature are now a single hive
mind with objective to crash the resources before devouring the weakened
warriors!
Currently the pigs and chickens have dwindled in numbers. Plague
and tainted food reserves are affecting the food supply for the warriors on
the front line. Socializers can only warns as much as possible. Butcher must
be taken down once again.
Socializers team came up with simple rules to help all warriors face this
Kretch Outbreak!
1) Build your repository and Stash your food. Warrior can no longer seek
possible food source from locals while the tainted supply are still in circulations!
Build your own stash and keep your own stock. Help the locals by contacting
Ruler Pireney or Onufir.
2) Uprade your armor. These feral vermins bites can tear through a typical
Anger Cuirass like a lump of cheese! A sturdier armor are needed to face off
with these creature. Artful items are proven to withstand better against
these kretches.
3) DO NOT BRING CHEESE! For the love of Sheara, do not travel with lump of
cheese in your pants. These kretches can smell cheese through a thick steel
door, your 1 silver leather pants would not be a hindrance for their
snout!
4) Please turn in all captured kretches to Chief Torgor/Kort. Get yourself
some Large Elixir of Giant. These are like hitting two Rocs with one stone,
You will reduce the amount of kretches and get yourself some elixirs to help
you in fights!
That is all the report from Team Socializer! Please help the
local residents in getting through with the Kretch Outbreak by enlisting
yourself in becoming warriors in Faeo. Both Ogriy and Khair needs your help!

THE O'DELVAYS EVENING POST
DATE: The Day Even Wino in Tavern Sobered UpPRICE: 2 Coppers
ALL OF KHAIR IN TERROR! KRETCH INVASION REPORTEDLY SOBERED UP EVEN "WINO" IN TAVERN!
INTRODUCTION
O, honorable people of Faeo! The parchment you hold is not mere news; it is a survival guide! The dark cloud gathering over our city and the entire continent of Khair was not foretold by a seer or a royal decree. This chilling truth came to us from the exhausted whispers of the warrior Kasvet, his eyes red from sleeplessness. It seems the unsettling scurrying from beneath the Free Meadows is no longer a simple pest problem, but the sinister march of an organized invasion! And at the head of this army stands the greatest nightmare of our own making: the Kretch Butcher!
THE MAIN STORY: ANATOMY OF A DISASTER
But what exactly has brought Faeo to the brink of this catastrophe? It all began with poor Kasvet's sleepless nights. His ancient, undead, and frankly, spoiled mount, the Restless Dzerug, simply wouldn't sleep. It tossed and turned for nights on end, moaning and keeping its owner awake. The reason was simple: it was having a gourmet bone crisis! To end this torturous insomnia, Kasvet took a desperate last resort. His destination: the only place with first-class, crunchy bones worthy of his mount's palate the Plateau of Scorpions!
After battling for hours to prepare a feast for his mount, just as he was packing up the most magnificent King Scorpion skeleton, he was brought to the ground by the embarrassing sting of a tiny scorpion he'd overlooked. It was less a heroic wound and more of an unfortunate dumb accident. Grumbling, with his pride more injured than his body, he set off towards the Royal Tomb to find a his experienced healer friend Galaad-. It was on this journey, as fate would have it, that he passed through the Free Meadows and witnessed the sight that would change Faeo's destiny.
But why is this happening? What is the reason for this cold, calculated rage? The answer, dear readers, is a stain of shame upon our history. According to the "History of the Kretch Butcher," this monster was once a mere creature of the forest. He was captured by our ancestors and subjected to cruel experiments, intended to forge him into a war machine. They sharpened his mind, but they poisoned his soul with vengeance. One day, he escaped and took bloody revenge on his creators. Now, he uses everything he learned to exact that same revenge on all of Faeo on us. The monster of our own making now stands at our door to collect the debt.
And the list of debtors is long! This invasion targets not one person, but our entire way of life. O'Delvays is the first target, but all of Khair is in peril:
- Will the wisdom of our great leader, Elder Baguron, stand against this brute force?
- Will Voldemar, hoarding his gold under his pillow, be able to protect his fortune from these sneaky thieves?
- Even Pherapont the Miller, the pink-cheeked man whose door is open to all, will surely lock his gates to these unwelcome guests.
- Will Ikvan the Peasant, who dreams of his harvest, have to helplessly watch his prized pumpkins become Kretch feed?
- And yes, even she! The enchanting Marietta the Merry, whose forbidden pleasures are the talk of the town, has bolted her doors! We hear she's sworn an oath: "My love is measured in gold, but I don't accept mangy, flea-bitten rodents as clients!"
- And finally, the ultimate proof of the situation's gravity: Wino the Drunkard! Rumor has it that upon hearing the news, he dropped his wine glass and cried, "This war can't be endured sober, but we have NO CHOICE!"
Don't panic, prepare! Here are 3 vital tips for every citizen:
- WATCH YOUR BACK, AND YOUR TRASH!
These cunning creatures love to strike from behind when you least suspect it. A moment of carelessness can lead to disaster. Never travel alone, and clean up any food waste around your homes. Don't set out a banquet for them! - EVERY RAT HAS ITS LEADER! AIM FOR THE COMMANDERS!
If you see a common Kretch, know that one of the Butcher's elite, intelligent Leaders or Sentinels is likely nearby. These special units direct the swarm. If you must fight, target them first. An army without a leader is doomed to scatter! - DON'T BRING A KNIFE TO THE BUTCHER'S FIGHT! DO NOT ENGAGE HIM ALONE!
The Kretch Butcher is no ordinary monster. He is a general, as cunning as he is cruel. He can and will lure you into a trap. If you see him, do not try to be a hero! Immediately band together with other warriors to plan an organized assault!
Yes, the enemy is intelligent, furious, and a ghost from our own past. But we are an honorable people who fight for our homes, our lands, and our neighbors!
This battle isn't just to save a city. This is a fight for Pherapont the Miller's hospitality, for Ikvan the Peasant's harvest, for Marietta the Merry's... business, and most importantly, for the future of Khair continent itself!
Raise your swords, prepare your spells! For all of Khair, and even for Wino's right to peacefully enjoy his next drink, FIGHT!
Faeo Under Siege!
Unprecedented Kretch Invasion Threatens Our Very Existence!
Breaking News!
The tranquility of Faeo has been shattered! Whispers of an unusual gathering in the depths of the Kretches Lair have materialized into a horrifying reality: an organized, brutal invasion spearheaded by the monstrous Kretch! Our beloved world is under attack, and every resident must be prepared for the fight of our lives! The Horrifying Truth Unveiled
OUR EXCLUSIVE!

While the initial massing was observed within the infamous Kretches Lair and surroundings, their vile tendrils are now spreading across the land, threatening our villages, our cities, and our very homes! Reports are flooding in from various regions, indicating widespread Kretch incursions. This isn't just a small fight for food or land.
The Kretches have launched an outright invasion, aiming to conquer and subjugate Faeo. Their numbers are staggering, their tactics surprisingly coordinated, and their intent undeniably malevolent. They are pillaging, destroying, and showing no mercy. The full scale of this invasion became horrifyingly clear just hours ago, though preliminary movements were observed over the past few days, dismissed tragically as isolated incidents.
The enemy is already at our gates, and time is of the essence! The precise mechanism of their sudden organization remains a mystery, a chilling testament to their newfound, terrifying intelligence. Some speculate a new, dark leader has risen among them, or perhaps an external, sinister influence is at play.
Regardless, their tactical prowess and overwhelming numbers point to a calculated and devastating strategy. The motives of the Kretch have always been shrouded in primal savagery. However, this level of organization suggests a deeper, more sinister purpose than simple hunger or territorial expansion. Are they seeking to dominate Faeo? To enslave its inhabitants? Or is there a darker, more ancient prophecy guiding their bloodthirsty rampage? The answers remain elusive, but the consequences are chillingly clear.
The Dire Consequences and How to Survive!
Both current and possible consequences of this invasion are dire and undeniable. Our way of life, our very existence, hangs by a thread. Lives are being lost, homes are being destroyed, and fear grips the hearts of many. But despair is not an option! We are Faeo, and we will fight for our home!
Here are three vital tips for every resident to protect themselves and their loved ones:
- Fortify Your Homes and Villages! Do not underestimate the Kretch. Barricade your doors, reinforce your windows, and create defensible positions within your homes. Work with your neighbors to create communal safe zones and establish watchtowers in your villages. Every reinforced wall, every sturdy gate, can be the difference between life and death!
- Arm Yourselves and Stand United! This is not a time for hesitation. Gather any weapons you possess – your trusty axe, your sharpened sword, even a sturdy staff. If you are able-bodied, join your local militia or form defense groups. Strength lies in numbers! Even those not on the front lines can contribute by crafting defensive tools, healing the wounded, or providing crucial supplies. Remember, a unified Faeo is a strong Faeo!
- Seek Official Warnings and Avoid Isolated Areas! Information is your greatest weapon. Pay close attention to announcements from your elders, leaders, and any official channels. Do not venture into isolated or unpopulated areas, as these are prime targets for Kretch ambushes. Stick to well-trafficked routes and travel in groups whenever possible. Your life may depend on it!
A Call to Arms for All of Faeo!
Stay vigilant, stay strong, and remember: Faeo will never fall!
THEY SMELLED THE CHEESE – AND NOW THEY WANT BLOOD!
Kretches Return After Decades – Faeo Faces a New Crisis
The last Kretch invasion happened so many decades ago that today’s citizens know of it only through fireside tales. Those stories tell of great loss, villages destroyed, food stores raided, and lives lost. Even so, these whispered memories still stir fear across our lands. And now, it’s happening again. The Kretches have returned.
Evil from the Past Rises Again
Three days ago, we reported on the mysterious wreck of a cargo ship traveling between continents. Thousands of exotic goods were lost to the sea – and now waves have begun washing them ashore on both coasts. One of our reporters spoke to a sailor who claims the ship was smuggling a cache of extremely rare cheese. This cheese, he says, has a smell so pungent it could revive even a warrior who’s fought for three days straight. Rumors swirl that Gloum and Chigrik were involved in this shady shipment, but our messengers have yet to reach them for comment.
It’s no surprise, that the Kretches, whose nests lie deep inland, caught wind of the aroma and clawed their way to the surface in search of food. But something in that magical cheese seems to have awakened long-dormant bloodlust within them. Once content with scavenging near their burrows, they now swarm toward villages and towns, ready to devour and steal anything edible in their path.
First reports came in yesterday: farmers spoke of robbed food supplies and wounded workers. And this morning, the first Kretches were spotted near the capital.
The situation is escalating rapidly. If no action is taken, we may not only lose our food supplies – the Kretches could begin attacking civilians directly and spread as-yet-unknown diseases.
At the request of Warlord Damirus, we publish the following official statement:
“To every swordbearer of Faeo – your land calls you. Report to your nearest garrison. Every Kretch tail brought in will be counted and rewarded. This is not a hunt. This is war.”
For Those Who Stay Behind – Survive
Not every citizen can wield a sword. For those who remain within the safety of their homes, knowledge must become your weapon.
Here are the most important tips for survival, gathered by our reporters with the help of Centurion Mekden:
-Hide your food. Wrap it in cloth or bury it deep. Kretches' hunger is led by scent and they can smell across miles.
-Stay together and stay indoors. Kretches hunt the weak and isolated. Keep close to others, protect women and children. If you must travel, do so only in groups and never carry food with you.
-Protect your mounts and pets, they also can fall victim to the Kretches or become infected.
-Bitten? Don’t panic. Alchemists have developed a special serum that, when applied quickly, prevents most infections caused by Kretch attacks. It will be distributed this evening to all villages and cities.
These steps, though simple, may be the difference between survival and despair.
We Will Overcome
In the coming days, we will all be tested. But by staying united and prepared, we will endure. Don’t lose hope. Help your neighbors. Stand strong.
If our ancestors once beat them back, so shall we.

The invasion has started. We, people of Faeo, shall act!
Faeo needs its people and best warriors!
Panic is spreading across the continent after the long feared Kretch Butcher launched a full scale invasion from his subterranean lair. The assault began on June 10, following weeks of preparation that started on June 1, according to local scouts and militia leaders.
Dozens of towns and villages have reported attacks from swarms of Kretches. In a major blow to local leadership, Chief Torgor was taken prisoner during a raid on June 13 and has not been seen since.
The invasion marks a dramatic shift in behavior from the Kretch Butcher, who has until now remained deep underground. The Kretch Butcher appears to have reached a breaking point. According to experts, the Butcher has been repeatedly attacked by adventurers from all levels - many of whom sought to defeat him for quest items including the infamous Kretch Butcher Eye. Now he is retaliating against years of incursions into his lair.
“He’s tired of being hunted,” said Commander Norias, an experienced soldier and unchallenged leader of the rural militia of Highlands of Terror. “This isn’t just about revenge. It’s a strategic effort to move his territory to the surface.”
The Butcher has since mobilized what may be the largest Kretch horde in recorded history. Entire districts have been overrun. Survivors describe horrific scenes: homes torn apart, citizens dragged underground, and signs of plague beginning to spread.
The consequences of the invasion are severe. Pymen The Monk has confirmed at least three villages are under quarantine due to signs of infection. In response, high-level war mages have proposed a radical countermeasure: release Kretch Argash, the brother and biggest rival of Kretch Butcher from the grip of Shiass corruption. Releasing Argash may be the only way to counterbalance the Butcher’s growing power, a move that is being hotly debated by the War Council.
Protecting Yourself: What Citizens Can Do
Here are three key tips for staying safe during the Kretch invasion:
1. Secure Entry Points: Ensure that basements, wells, sewer grates, and cellar doors are sealed. Kretches favor dark, low points of entry.
2. Avoid Isolation: Do not travel alone, especially after nightfall. Kretch scouts target solitary individuals and remote locations first.
3. Masks On: Against spreading plague, all citizens must put on their mask until officials say otherwise.
In the face of this unprecedented threat, leaders across the continent are urging unity. To protect the children and the elderly (like player Deathwish), we must form resistance groups to counter the horde. War mages are reportedly preparing a campaign to confront Shiass directly.
“This is not just another monster hunt,” said Fayt the Fire Mage. “This is a war for the surface world. If we do not act together, we may lose more than our towns. We may lose our future.”
