The Right to Know, the Right to InformIn this section, I want to talk about players’ freedom to share information that is not mentioned in the Library.

I invite everyone who possesses such “bonus” information to share it with others, just as I am doing - and will continue to do - so that we can all benefit from knowing.

This is not a critique, not a judgment - just information shared with fellow players. And a reminder that some things are known only to a small group who benefit from them, while others, who want to play fair, have no way of discovering them on their own.

When do auction lots end?

Auction lots end every 10 minutes.

This means that regardless of whether a player lists an item - for example, for a short duration (2 hours) at 19:02 or 19:07, the auction will still end at 21:10.

Because of this system, a bidder who places a bid at 21:09:59 (sometimes the server delays this by a few seconds) will win the auction, as other players have no time to react or outbid this informed bidder.

A short guide to auction

Given the information in the previous post, and knowing that for bidding time:
Long means 24h - 8h left
Average means 8h - 2h left
Short means 2h - 0h left

We can create a way to "estimate" time of auction ending.
Let me show you an example of how such an estimation works like.
Say you observe an item on auction, you check this item every half an hour and you see that between 10:05 and 10:36 it changed from long to average.
You know that between 16:10 and 16:30 it will change from average to short, so you check every 10 min, and note not that at 16:15 it was average, but at 16:25 it was short. it means that the auction will end at 18:20 - since short is 2 hours left.

"Catalogue of wounds"

Maybe for someone it will be useful, but I imagine that for most it will be just a "fun fact" to know.
Injury you are going to give is calculated with this formula:
Degree of Injury = 1+ (Your exe level - Enemy anti-trauma)/25
(Rounded to lower number)
If your exe level is 300 and enemy anti-trauma is 150, then the injury you will give is:
(1+(300-150))/25 = 6.04 ~ 6. You will give a wound of level 6.
