Deathly Gift, is this new rep a bug or just something that has no value?

I wasted a lot of resorces on this and finally got this buff: http://warofdragons.com/artifact_info.php?artikul_id=6149
Guess what happened? Nothing, I was in Tallaar for nearly 2 hours, nothing happened?

"While you are under the influence of this effect the God of the Cursed and the Dead may come to help you and strike your opponent with a special curse.":devil:I think he may NOT come as well until the buff is gone.

Is this is bug? or can anyone tell me what's the sense of having this buff?
