Kroffdor/Eldives Rep over 2500

Howdy.
I did Kroffs up to 2500 with the Davagar and im now at 500 uses. I read some guides but im still wondering if i missed something. Do i really need 1500 flamians or 7500 incarnums to get my Davagar to 2000, just to be able to continue the reputation to 3000?
