 | GAME NEWS | |
Swirling above disturbed graves and moaning wildly, cemetery ghosts are making promises of dreadful fun for the vile undead, who are gazing at them with their empty eye sockets and stretching their bones after lying still for so long in the damp ground. Skeletons, zombies, bodiless spirits and other representatives of the dark forces will not want to miss a chance to run the show in Faeo and scare its inhabitants during Nightmare Week. The locals however, fearfully await the Night of the Grinning Pumpkin and hope that charms and brave warriors will be able to protect them from the mischief of the undead.
The City Fairs are full of joyful warriors celebrating the sixth anniversary of Faeo and their luck in the games at the anniversary festival. But with Halloween coming ccloser it is time for an experience a little more spooky.
Enter the Haunted House on the city fair and meet ghosts, zombies and other creepy beings! Do you have the guts to make your way through this uncanny building until you reach the old library where you can find valuable chess pieces?
The most respected and revered Habu love to show off not just their huge bellies to each other, but also any amazing items that they have had the good fortune to acquire in the Isles of Swirling Mist.
All over Faeo the trees are most clourful, but it is also getting colder and darker. It is high time to get some important work done, before the waters freeze, the ground becomes stone-hard and the tender plants die. But do not to worry, there are some special autumn chests, which contain all that fishermen, geologists, or herbalists could desire with all their hearts! Rush to the Chest Shop at the City Fair, which is between the Square of Fire and the Daylight Square – there you will find very exclusive Valuable Autumn Caskets, Valuable Autumn Strongboxes, Valuable Autumn Coffers and Valuable Autumn Chests.
As the saying everybody in Faeo knows goes: birds of a feather flock together! So Tabu-Habu, who is nicknamed Greybelly, the proud owner of a huge belly, which is considered a high social status among the Habu and is envied among fellow tribe members, is always happy to recognise and gain a fellow big bellied relative, albeit a very distant relative. That is why as soon as he heard about the mysterious Silvergut from warriors passing by the salty lake, Habu resolved to meet with him and establish a possible family connection.

Warriors, the One-Armed Bandit will be in operation again from Monday, October 21, 15:00 Faeo time for your amusement. It disgorges mounds of Gold coins right into the hands of the lucky winners. Winnings clink in players' pockets, and superstitious players hold firmly onto their lucky charms. It goes without saying that, although this game is risky, it is great fun – all the warriors have been caught up in the gambling fever. You can try to win the jackpot wherever you are, the one-armed bandit can be reached from every location! But who knows when Lady Luck will smile on them? She is very capricious – sometimes she showers the fortunate with her gifts, while at other times she can take the last copper coin from a poor wretch. To protect you from large losses the One-Armed Bandit has been configured to only accept large bets when you have sufficient money in your wallet to live well. In other words, the more gold you have clinking in your pocket, the more money you can bet, so as to win big! But the opposite is also true: If a warrior's wallet has been empty for a long time, the machine will only allow him to place a small bet. This means that his loss will be smaller if he does not win.
The City Fairs at the Square of Fire and Daylight Square are busy with warriors asking the Fortune Teller about their future, showing their skills on the Tin Can Alley or augmenting their Gold in the Game of Dice. But the anniversary festival has far more to offer: Did the Fortune Teller predict a lucky future? Test this prediction on the Wheel of Fortune that has been put up on the fairground. Turning the wheel you can win great prizes. Those of you with a quick eye should play Find the Dragon and bet on rare resources and special coins.
Warriors, it is about time to re-start the Happy Hours! This weekend you get the chance to proof your fighting skills and crush your enemies in the Crystalline Caves. The gods of war are merciful and they reward the winners and the defeated with double Valor in the Crystalline Caves. Warriors, you better do your best to please the gods and get your reward!
Bankers are not usually regarded as very generous but Forint is clearly an exception! Enjoying the sunny weather he is an an excellent mood and so he gives a present to every warrior who obtains Diamonds - even if you get yourself as little as 9 Diamonds.
