 Tarariquon Spider Battles13.03.2009 16:22

It's time to put your feet up and earn a little money at the same time! Every warrior works tirelessly, engaging the enemy in battle and going on long campaigns in search of adventure, glory and victory! But every warrior needs to rest, too. A short nap, a drink with friends, a chance to lay down the sword...

Even then, most warriors find it hard to relax without the spectacle of battle. Therefore,  Givens the Landlord, of The Gurral'diy's Head, and  Voluptuous Mary, of Mary's Tavern, have come up with a new show for all who want a little bit of entertainment whilst away from the battlefield: Spider Battles.

But don't think this new attraction is merely banal entertainment to pass the time! Oh no! You have a unique chance to cash in on the spider battles because every battle that your Tarariquon wins brings you profit! You can train your spider and increase its attributes, developing it from a regular Tarariquon to a Veteran Tarariquon to a true professional - a Battle Tarariquon.

For that, you need to feed your little friend its favourite food - tubemakers, which you can find by killing the undead.

So you can kill two birds with one stone: destroy the ghastly undead and keep your Tarariquon fed. How do you get yourself your very own Tarariquon? Simple. They can be found in the caches of the Palaces of King Magish, by killing Giant Female Ashen Spiders and, if you're a Geologist, Herbologist or Fisherman, you might find them whilst mining, collecting or fishing. Givens and Mary will tell you everything you need to know about the rules and conduct of battle. They'll even sell you all the necessary equipment! To battle!

 Petya the Beetle13.03.2009 16:08

A new quest has become available to level 7 warriors and above.

The forester has run into a strange problem. His pet, a beetle by the name of Petya, has turned from a peaceful, obedient creature into a huge evil monster.

The beetle has become uncontrollable! The forester doesn't know what to do. He needs to destroy the rampaging monster before it does real harm. But the forester is very attached to his pet and can't bring himself to do the deed. He's been to all the wise men and mages on the continent in search of advice about how to cure the beetle and make it kind and obedient once more, but no one has been able to help. You're his last hope!

Big scary beetle = big scary problem!

The quest can be taken from   Hawken the Forester and   Vaslav the Ranger, who live in Zviglod Grove and on Light's Edge respectively.

 Battle of Dragons11.03.2009 15:01

Once again, swords will clash, bodies will fall and the Magmar and Human races will fight for the right for their dragon to lead the masses against the invasion of Chaos tomorrow. The 300 warriors from each race who have proven their patriotic fervour by killing the most Gungl Scouts over the past week will be given access to the Plateau of Silence battlefield at 18:00 server time on the 11th March 2009. Make sure you are there!

Erifarius. A one-horned, (almost) pure white, scaly killing machine.  Striagorn. An angry, hungry, fire-breathing, over-sized lizard.

The Dragons have been carefully observing the efforts of Humans and Magmars on the battlefield over the past month and have concluded that the Human foot soldiers have proven themselves superior to their Magmar counterparts. As such, they will receive the greater blessing from their protector, the mighty Erifarius. Today, from 16:00 Faeo time, the dragons will wait for the warriors of their race, who have achieved the rank of at least  Fighter,  in the  Foothills of the Chions Mountains and  Hell's Pass, in to order to bless them and boost their attributes in battle. The battlefield victory counter has been suspended and will be reset after Chaos' army has been repelled.

UPDATE: The Battle of the Dragons has finished. After an intense battle, the Magmars, despite turning up late, earned a glorious victory over the Humans and, as the victors, will receive 10 times as much experience in the battle with Chaos as the Humans. The Dragons have generously rewarded all participants in the battle who fought side-by-side with them. On the 12th March, when Chaos tries to tear into the world of Faeo, Humans and Magmars, under the command of Striagorn, will lead the resistance.

 Meet the Blacksmiths06.03.2009 13:49

Thanks to Faeo's scientists, the armour and weaponry available to Faeo's warriors is constantly developing. Just recently, the scientists have developed a new armour technology which uses a particularly difficult material to get hold of - Phitzell skin.

Inspired, the Elder has tasked  Stavros and  Tungur the Blacksmiths with making a set of experimental armour. To do so, the Blacksmiths need a volunteer not only to try out the armour but to go and obtain some Phitzell skin by defeating the slithery beasts in battle.

Warriors who complete this quest will get the chance to try on and use a 5-piece green armour set for free for a short period, so choose your time to complete the quest carefully!

The quest is open from level 3 and can be taken from  Stavros the Blacksmith on the Luan Coast and  Tungur the Blacksmith in the Ancestral Mountains.

 Fallen King Magish's Spear04.03.2009 13:07

Oh how the mighty fall! By now, everyone knows the dark, terrifying, at times, sad story of King Magish, the Dark Governor and Devourer of Souls, who sold his soul to the God of All the Dead and the Damned.

Recently, intrepid warriors campaigning in the bricked-up walls of his former palace have made some fascinating archaeological finds, namely pieces of King Magish's spear.

But the Dark Governor's spear is not the sort of weapon that should be left lying around now it has been uncovered. Steps must be taken to recover all parts of the spear and exorcise the evil power it possesses...

Find the parts of the spear and take them to Shiko the Paladin in the  Royal Tomb or the  Tomb of Kings to seek his advice.

Quest open to level 6 and above.

Warriors! Your Dragons have called upon you to take decisive action! Chaos is preparing its next invasion of Faeo and has begun reconnaissance of our forces' positions and strengths. Chaos has already sent hundreds of Gungl Scouts into our world to gather intelligence. The Dragons want you to take part in an operation to eliminate these enemy spies and halt the invasion of Faeo by Chaos' army, led by General UyarrMO!

Once you have accepted the mission from the Dragons, you will need to track down and destroy the enemy scouts who can be found across the whole of Faeo. Once you have killed a Gungl, you will receive his hatchet as proof of your victory.

Destroy as many Gungl Scouts as possible by the 11th March, when you will be able to present the hatchets to your Dragon, showing him your legendary powers, and exchange them for valour. The 300 warriors from each race, who destroy the most Gungls, proving their patriotic fervour, will be admitted to the grand Battle of the Dragons, which will take place on the 11th March at 18:00 Faeo time on the Plateau of Silence.

Magmars will find their Dragon,  Striagorn, slumbering in Hell's Pass, whilst Humans will find theirs,  Erifarius, playing chess in the Foothills of Chions Mountains on the continent of Ogriy.
