He is the greatest of gods! And to be blessed by him All warriors are ready To sell their nation and their mothers, Both Humans and Magmars. Pray unceasingly without delay, Pray day and night, in battle, Pray vehemently and you will be rewarded. He will give you what is dearest to you, He is the greatest of gods, the GOD OF DROPS! Well, it seems like you've all been praying very hard and, having studied the renowned works on the subject of drops, the Gods have deigned to increase the drop rate of green and blue armour from all creatures. Not by a lot, but enough to make a difference. The Gods will be monitoring the effect of these changes to ensure 'peace' reigns in Faeo.
In addition, the Gods have instructed the bankers to semi-permanently increase the exchange rate by 25%. 1 will now get you 1 25 and 1 will now be worth 63. This increase will be for a trial period of two weeks to begin with, lasting until midday 18th February 2009, after which it will be reviewed.
You will also receive 1 extra whenever you exchange 40 until further notice, so 40 will now get you 51.

Just finished your magic apprenticeship? Looking for something a bit more stylish to go with your new status? The War Mages are now selling Berserker, Gryphon and Tranquility Cuisses and Cuirasses, but you need to supply the materials for the master to fashion your new outfit from. Once you're equipped, you're going to need something to try it out on... Strange and incomprehensible things are happening in our world! Faeans are well-accustomed to monsters and the scientifically unexplained, but curiosity always lingers. For example, many want to know what has driven the Ancient Golems from Eagles' Nest and the Gordt Vetarans from the Allayas Wastelands. Some think they were driven out by the Ferocious Kroffdors, which are immensely powerful and can cast powerful spells!
It's even rumoured that their magic is capable of summoning Dark Kroffdors through a portal into battle. Many fearless warriors have set off to do battle with the Ferocious Kroffdors and find out their true power. Of course, not all have survived, but those who emerged victorious and returned alive brought with them all sorts of amazing trophies:

A new quest has opened for level 4 and above Humans.
Wandering across the Alaveya fields, Bludiara the Fortune-teller lost her ring. But it's not any old ring; it's a rare, enchanted one. Such rings are used by wizards and fortune-tellers to concentrate and strengthen their magic powers. Using such rings, they can perform their sorcery without consuming lots of valuable energy. More important than all of that, however, is that the ring could cause great harm to its new owner if he doesn't know how to use it properly. Bludiara has not had any difficulty locating the ring's owner; it's none other than Katiput! Bludiara has already tried to persuade him to return the ring, but he won't hear anything of the sort. His life is in your hands!
Meanwhile, Maeli the Mermaid has an even more serious problem to deal with. Vylis the Fisherman has caught a whole brood of Gurral'diy Korr - a giant sea monster from the Balluar Ocean.
It seems that the mermaids have an ancient friendship with the Gurral'diy. The Korr protect the mermaids from the attacks of perfidious mercenaries, who call themselves the Red Axes. If the little Gurral'diy are not returned to the sea, there will be no one to defend the mermaids and they will be doomed! You have to do something! The quest is open to level 3 and above Magmars.

The valour awarded for handing in Gungl Scout hatchets has now been reduced to 10% of its previous value.
Essentially, this is to discourage bots and encourage instances.
You will still need Gungl Scout hatchets to earn the Mark of the Dragon to gain access to the Battle of the Dragons.

The appearance of a new location in Faeo is good news for those who serve the ideals of virtue and justice, whose hearts and thoughts are pure and who are loyal to the Brotherhood of Virtue. The Brotherhood's Cloister has been declared open, a place which summons feelings of reverence and respect equalled only be feelings felt in the Sanctuary. Any sort of brute physical force is entirely out of place in the cloister and you will never hear the clash of swords or foul language that flies from the mouths of madmen.
It's a haven for those wish to do good in Faeo where they can discuss their ideas and plans, enlisting the support of like-minded brothers and sisters, and speak with the Brotherhood's founder, chief ideologist and governor, Norak the Virtuous. Read more...

So, you're sitting quietly in the tavern, having a gossip with your comrades, drinking some wine and, out of nowhere, the Great Dragon appears before you! He's chosen you for a special mission...Such things only happen to followers of the Brotherhood of Virtue. The dragon is greatly concerned that the forces of Chaos have not only penetrated the lands of Faeo, but the minds of its warriors, leading to internecine strife and civil war, which only weakens the strength and unity of the army. The winged giant has decided to summon the bravest warriors and hand them a magic horn which can cut short aggression in the tanks of his own race. The quest is only open to representatives of the Brotherhood of Virtue from level 6. The dragon will reward those brothers and sisters who make good use of the horn with stronger horn.

A long time ago, the diary of a wanderer fell into the hands of a wise man, who was astonished to read about lands of abundance, boundless seas and giant birds. According to the wanderer, one of the birds "was reminiscent of dragons, the other had wings as white as snow." What were these writings all about? More importantly, where were the lands they spoke of? Described in the diary were the regions of Grand Fort in Ogriy and Faytvor in Khair. Grand Fort consists of the Castle, Grand Fort Suburbs, Grand Fort Harbour, Luan Coasts and Gryphon Crossing. Faytvor is made up of the Castle, Faytvor Suburbs, Wyvern Crossing and, leading to the sea, the Ancestral Mountains and Terror Wharf. Nowadays, every citizen of Faeo can visit these lands. Reliable sources confirm the lands are rich, the flora wild and the wildlife varied. Nature spared no expense in filling these lands with resources. But anyone who goes there must keep a sharp look out, because dangerous beasts roam the abundant lands: Phitzells, Krogans, Gargoyles have all been spotted there and numerous banished and bitter mercenaries, Outcasts, also wander the lands.
Intriguingly, the castles block the route to some of the regions and warriors can only reach the regions by paying for the services of Navigator Luran, in Gryphon Crossing, and Navigator Vezur, in Wyvern Crossing. It is the navigators who control the "giant birds," spoken of by the ancient wanderer. Humans can reach Grand Fort from the Wasteland of Rest and Magmars can make it to Faytvor from the Skies above the Forgotten Graves. But don't rush to break down the castle gates - they are not yet open to warriors.
