Finally the most wonderful green Christmas trees are standing on the city squares and spread a pleasant and fresh smell of Christmas and the Spirit of Christmas could eventually take shape thanks to the help of all of you: the mountains of snow you have carried to the city squares have come alive and transformed into a huge snowman.



But unfortunately there is not only good news. The carriages that should bring presents and baubles for the Christmas tree to Faeo have been attacked by evil yetis that have been drawn to our lands from the cold north by the Christmas preparations. Now these hairy monsters from the mountains are directly on their way to our capital! You need to stop them and get the presents and the Christmas decoration back, otherwise the Christmas tree on your city square will look sad and empty and will be just an ordinary fir tree without any festive decorations.

You can get help from the Spirit of Christmas - under its guidance you will solve all the problems easily. And everyone who fulfills one of the tasks of the Spirit of Christmas will receive magic snowflakes as a reward that have special features - they almost don't melt. In addition you can trade the snowflakes for a variety of interesting surprises and presents on the Christmas fair that the Spirit of Christmas will hold during the Christmas holidays. The more magic snowflakes you collect, the more presents you will get!

You can start the quests "Lost Presents", "The lost Christmas tree decorations" and "There is never too much snow" at the Spirit of Christmas on the City Squares.

As you will have noticed, winter has come to Faeo. White enchanted flakes are falling from the sky, a fine layer of the white powder is lying on the roofs and when you are walking you can hear the white miracle crunching under your feet - it's snowing! For the inhabitants of Faeo the beginning of winter is connected to the upcoming most important holiday of the year - Christmas! And a real holiday is not only celebrated with friends and family, a Christmas without the traditions would be unthinkable.

 

The obligatory Christmas trees have already been delivered, they are standing on your city squares. But there are some problems with the Spirit of Christmas who is looking after the good mood and the right Christmas atmosphere. Usually it appears in a different shape each year but this year there is some sort of disruption - the Spirit of Christmas can not form its shape! The elders can give advice: the spirit needs a cover in order to be able to appear in our world and this cover can only be made of snow.



The elders ask all humans and magmars who care about the destiny of Christmas to help and to collect snow! Bring the snowdrifts to the elders, this will be the first step to save Christmas!

Warriors of Faeo! The ancient Order of the Underground Knights is very proud to announce the upcoming Cave Tournament of the levels 5-12! This exciting tournament is a must for those among you craving to increase their Valour and to prove true sons and daughters of your nation!

The applicants for the Cave Tournaments have to queue up in order to enter combat. The fighters will be split into two groups according to their level. Each group fights against opponents of their own level group, thus, level 5-6 warriors fight against other level 5-6 warriors, while at the same time level 7-8 warriors start their battle. The same rule applies to warriors of the levels 9-10 and 11-12. 

The maximum team size in a level group is 20.

An entry pass is required to enter the tournament and can be obtained from  Shodu the Keeper and  Vigor the Keeper for 1 , starting Sunday 11:00 Faeo time. 

 

 

 

Application time for the Tournament:

for lvl 5-8 - Sun., 18:00-19:00 Faeo time
for lvl 9-12 - Sun., 19:00-20:00 Faeo time.

A team must score 1500 points to win.

The Valour received as a reward for participation and winning is as follows:

This is a fast-paced fight, so you have to decide quickly, the time-out span on the Battlefields is 10 seconds!

The maximum battle time is 180 minutes.

The Cave Tournament will begin Sunday, 18:00 Faeo time for the level group 5-8 and Sunday 19:00 Faeo time for the level group 9-12. Be there and increase your Valour, become a true warrior of Faeo!

As a frequent visitor of your pub you have often wondered what this chest standing in the corner might be used for. And after a few beers you have started dreaming: What if you could use the chest for storing your items, so that you would just have to visit the pub whenever you need something.

  

According to rumors the chest is currently full of useless toys owned by a young yeti. Wouldn't it be much more suitable for your valuable items? Why don't you talk to  Givens and  Mary to find out if there is any chance you could use this chest?



This quest is available for all warriors from level 3. In order to start the quest, speak to  Givens in the Gurraldiy's Head pub in County Vurdaliya and to  Voluptuous Mary in Mary's Tavern in the Baurvil Hamlet.

Warriors, a special time is coming up: it's the Time of Valour - the much sought-after attribute, that shows which players were especially successful in battles between the races and which enables you to receive higher and higher ranks - up to Higher Master.

 

 

In order to help you on your way through the ranks you will be able to receive double Valour in the Crystalline Caves on Friday between 19:00 and 21:00 Faeo time and on Saturday between 1:00 and 3:00 Faeo time. Don't miss this unique chance!

And that's how it works: When you have registered, confirmed your participartion and entered the battlefield you can click on the crate at the entrance of the Crystalline Caves and you will receive a Unique Valour Elixir. Use this elixir immediately and it will double your Valour when fighting in the battlefield. When you leave the battlefield the elixir will disappear and it will lose its effect. 

Attention!  Other valour elixirs do not work if you are using the Unique Valour Elixir.

 

The Time of Valour in the Crystalline Caves will take place on Friday, 19:00 to 21:00 Faeo time and on Saturday, 1:00 to 3:00 Faeo time.

Older inhabitants of Faeo still remember the invasion of Diabolic Spiders in the Malleable Badlands.  Humans and  Magmars not only fought this menace, they also were in a competition amongst each other, to see which race would kill more of these horrific spiders.
 

After the  Humans had killed the queen of the Diabolic Spiders it seemed the spiders had been eradicated forever. But now there are reports that this was not the case. Some of them managed to hide under the stones of the Malleable Badlands and they are now creeping out of their hiding places one after the other. It is time to kill the remaining Diabolic Spiders.

 

But again this is not only about killing spiders, this about showing which race is more capable of fighting this menace. Only the race that kills more spiders than the other will receive a Valour reward. So you not only have to kill as many spiders as possible, you should also make it hard for the warriors of your opposite race to kill the spiders they attacked!

In order to take part in this event, players of all levels are asked to come to the Maleable Badlands on Friday at 17:00 Faeo time. You can access the Malleable Badlands from the  Baurvill Hamlet and the  Settlement of Faytir.

Many brave warriors followed the call of the Dragons to come to the battlefield and fight, so many that the Dragon Battle turned into an Epic Battle.



It was a tough fight and the warriors from both races did their best in fighting side by side with the dragons,  Erifarius and  Striargorn. Victory was on the side of the Magmar race. For their victory they were awarded with 5000 Valour, while the participating Humans received 2500 Valour.
