Everybody knows what a great role Faeo's scientists play in the struggle with the monsters spawning across its vast continents, but there are times when the very same scientists make a monumental error which brings only harm to the peaceful inhabitants of these fine lands.

Now, is one of those times. Just the other day, the failed experiments of some mad demonologists allowed a monstrously dangerous and bloodthirsty demon to climb out of the depths of hell and into our world - Balthazar has arrived!

All attempts to return this horned beast whence he came have failed spectacularly, because the so-called experts are not really very espert at all. Their incompetence and impotence in the face of dangers has caused a wave of unrest amongst the people and the authorities, who are now threatening the demonologists with severe repercussions if they don't undo what they've done. The demonologists are beside themselves, bawling their eyes out, praying for divine intervention. The only thought they have for a possible solution is the the Banish Balthazar spell, but that requires the dastardly demon's tail. We can only hope that this time the scientists have got it right because it requires a brave and fearless warrior to chop off Balthazar's tail!

This quest is accessible from level 3. It can be taken from  I-Vidi and  Berrush the Demonologists. By completing this mission, you will become the proud owner of a Demon Cube.

Though the demonologists have unleashed terror with Balthazar, they are a little more adept at dealing with smaller demons, such as Buyaka. They are now offering, for  3 or 10 demon shackles, the Aversion Curse, to ward off the furry little beast.

So pop along to your local demonologist now to help the struggle against Balthazar, or to rid yourself of Buyaka. You can find  I-Vidi cowering in the  Grand Fort Suburbs and  Berrush can be found snivelling in the  Faytvor Suburbs.
