The Smargul's Feather is among the most mysterious and controversial collectible items in the entire world. A special hallmark of a genuine Smargul's Feather is the drop of congealed blood − black like tar, with red inclusions − on the tip of the stem. It is not blood as we usually understand it, but rather the residue of the magic that nearly killed the bird, but instead gave it immortality. It is said this drop is keeping the imprint of pain and betrayal to this day.
