Nothing can stop a true hero! He can rise to the gnomes’ abode beyond the clouds and then descend without fear into the dark twisted maze of underground passages. And even the ferocious creatures from the Limbo of Mystras skulk back into the darkness to avoid the glittering of the hero’s merciless axe.
The steward of the hunt, who served Celeste faithfully. Almost too faithfully, given that he was known for setting the hounds on the Queen's enemies for his lady’s amusement. After the death of the Queen, Elgar decided that he had a better chance of surviving in a monster-infested tomb than in the city captured by the rebels. And he was right - nobody has yet put and end to his wandering through the dark corridors of the Labyrinth, surrounded by vicious dogs.
One day a pious servant of the Church of Dawn accidentally discovered the plans of a certain sorceress determined to bring Celeste back to life. The sorceress caught up with the novice at the altar — the unfortunate woman hardly managed to offer a fervent prayer before the lethal spell struck her. Faith worked a miracle, preserving the life of the novice, but the magic also did its dark work. In the end, the novice merged with the altar itself, forming a horrific creature that immediately ripped the sorceress to shreds. In the morning, the servants of the Church of Dawn were terrified to discover the monster in the Cathedral. They imprisoned it in the Labyrinth, concealing what had transpired from the people of Ergam…

A powerful mage who lived in the mountains near Ergam when it was still a tiny village. In those days, the first of the townsfolk expelled Tskar due to the prudent fear of his dark magic, and in his posthumous incarnation he eagerly sided with Celeste. Tskar has gained the protection of the elements that reign in the Labyrinth — now he enters the battle as the wind is shrieking, the flame is roaring and the earth is shuddering.

This formidable warrior once commanded Celeste’s army. He used to throw the severed heads of troublemakers at the foot of her throne and set fire to whole districts of Ergam. They say that, during a riot, even fifty rebels were barely able to defeat him. So Ulf lost his own head, but his ghost could find no rest. Death has neither tempered his anger nor robbed him of strength - the ghostly commander now takes pleasure in punishing and torturing, all for the glory of his Queen.
The last of an ancient tribe of dragons that once inhabited the mountain peaks around Ergam. The steady expansion of the city, the development of technology and the invention of gunpowder all led to the winged reptiles becoming extinct, but Oruzd, having survived miraculously, was captured by the spawn of the Labyrinth and locked up under the guard of four incorporeal spirits. Needless to say, his fierce temper has only worsened after the years of imprisonment. Anyone who dares to approach the dragon is met with streams of dark flame and terrible blows from its giant claws.
One of the centers of power in the Labyrinth is its ghostly heart. It is woven from the fears, nightmares and dying visions of those who never found their way back out of the endless underground corridors. Every beat of this heart, echoing in the darkness, causes the captives in the Labyrinth to freeze in terror and lose a portion of life.
