GAME NEWS

Some of the bravest  Human and  Magmar warriors have started to take an interest in the eternal war taking place between the ancient races of Eldives and Kroffdors. They have started to join these two enemy armies and are now eager to fight against their new enemies.

Are you one of the new members of the Eldive army? It is now your task to procure Centridos from Kroffdors you have killed, in order to prevent the Kroffdor from being reborn. You are now ready to take part in a secret Eldive ritual which will enable you to procure the Centridos more easily.

When you burn the Procured Centridos in a Prozio or an Antizio you can gain Eldive Reputation.

Or have you decided to be part of the Kroffdor army? In that case you need to procure Incarnums, the heart-like organs of the Eldives which enable them to be reborn, in order to prevent that. You can take part in a ritual that will increase your Incarnum procurements skills.

If you burn the procured Incarnums in a Davagar or Nevagar you will receive Kroffdor Reputation.

To take part in the Centrido Procurement Ritual warriors from level 11 who have already passed the Eldive Initiation should talk to  Chooli-a-Veyna in the Riverhead of Wrath or to  Fairy-a-Maiya at the Eldives' Outpost.

The Incarnum Procurement Ritual is open for all warriors from level 11 who have passed the Kroffdor quest  Ordeal by Blood and can be performed by  Dimedora in The Kroffdors' Warcamp or  Reodora in the Village of Tremor.

 Update: Sickle Slaughter25.03.2010 04:36

Having been called their commanders, numerous warriors from both races came to the Malleable Badlands to show their fighting skills with the sickle.

This might be an unusual weapon, but it can be quite dangerous. In the above picture you can see the  Human Commander himself bleeding quite heavily following a sickle attack by a brave  Magmar warrior. It turned out to be a long battle but eventually the Humans were victorious. All Humans who brought their sickles to the Malleable Badlands to fight alongside their commander were rewarded with 3500 Valour, the Magmar participants received 1750 Valour.

 PvP Event: Sickle Slaughter23.03.2010 07:18

We all have to make a living, despite the ongoing war between  Humans and  Magmars in Faeo, and a lot of us go to the meadows and fields with our sickles to reap the bounties provided by Mother Nature.

However, many inhabitants of Faeo who are well able to handle their sickles to pick plants have been attacked, stabbed in the back by an evil member of the enemy nation while peacefully working with only their sickles in their hands to defend themselves. Consequently, it would be of great use to be able to use that agricultural tool as a weapon also. Show what you can do in a fight with your sickle! Will you be able to overcome an army of sickle-bearing enemies together with your commander and others who follow his call? Come to the Malleable Badlands equipped with your grey sickle but no other weapons on Wednesday, join the fight along with your commander and gain a great Valour reward! This is an event without summons.

The event Sickle Slaughter is for all warriors up to level 10 who own a grey sickle. It will take place on Wednesday, 17:00 Faeo time at the Malleable Badlands. Go to the  Baurvill Hamlet or the  Settlement of Faytir and pick the Malleable Badlands as your destination.

 Update: Striagorn's Revenge22.03.2010 07:13

The history of the war between   Magmars and  Humans, between the dragons  Striagorn and  Erifarius, is long and complicated. However, in a fierce battle last Sunday it took a new and interesting turn.

Striagorn
himself decided to take revenge on the Humans, since they had invaded the Magmar capital Dartrong led by Erifarius a week before. So he gathered a strong army of Magmars around him and they marched to the enemy lands. Just after crossing the sea, Striagorn and his Magmar army were drawn into battle with Human warriors who had been forewarned and were waiting for their enemies right at the coast. Striagorn used this battle to teach the Humans a lesson and after about an hour all the Humans in Virgiya District were torn to pieces. The Human attack of a week earlier was avenged and Striagorn rewarded all Magmar warriors who took part in this battle with 5000 Valour. All Humans who participated in the battle against Striagorn were rewarded with 2500 Valour. But now both Humans and Magmars are wondering: what does this mean for future developments in the war? What will happen next?

 Striagorns Revenge19.03.2010 08:00

It was a great shock to the entire  Magmar race that  Erifarius and his army of  Humans could enter their capital and gain victory despite all the efforts of the Magmar warriors and the  Dartong Guards.

Last week  Striagorn remained on the sidelines, believing that his Magmar warriors could defeat their Human enemies in their own main square. Striagorn is extremely angry at his counterpart on the Human side. This was a step too far. Now he is seeking revenge and he is calling all Magmar warriors to meet at Dartrong City Square on Sunday, 18:00 Faeo time to start a crusade towards the Human lands and to teach this impertinent race a lesson on their city square. Accompany your dragon and gain a great Valour reward.

Meanwhile the  Humans are still celebrating their victory from last Sunday. They know this might have been a decisive victory in the war against the Magmar race. But they have to be careful; they know that the Magmars can be very aggressive with all that molten lava flowing through their veins. So they should be prepared for a counter-attack from the Magmars and their dragon Striagorn. According to rumor, it will take place on Sunday at 18:00 Faeo time. Erifarius is still bursting with confidence; he believes his Human warriors have no need of his help to win a battle on their own lands, so you will not be able to count on him, but he will reward you with a great amount of Valour if you help defending your nation against this threat.

The event Striagorn's Revenge will take place on Sunday, 18:00 Faeo time. Be at your capital city's main square!

Far in the North a holy war has been waged for centuries now – the war between the ancient races of the Kroffdors and the Eldives. So far this has gone pretty much unnoticed by  Magmars and  Humans.

But as a true warrior you have a heightened sensitivity towards bloodshed and war and you feel drawn to any potential conflict. Both the Kroffdor and the Eldive armies are desperate to gain an advantage in this eternal war and so they invite passing warriors to join them. However, these armies are not looking for just anyone, only high level warriors can join and they should be prepared to perform difficult tasks.

Chooli-a-Veyna at the Riverhead of Wrath and  Fairy-a-Maiya at the Eldives Outpost can tell all warriors from level 11 more about the Initiation to the army of the Eldives, your chance to gain Eldive reputation.

If you are interested in helping the Kroffdors and receiving Kroffdor reputation and you are level 11 or above, take the quest Ordeal by Blood from  Dimedora in The Kroffdors' Warcamp and  Reodora in the Village of Tremor.

Have you ever thought that someone with a fishing rod in their hand must, by nature, be a peaceful sort of person, just minding their own business and just looking for a little creek or pond that might contain some delicious fish?

However, if you were in the Malleable Badlands during the Fearlessly Fighting Fishermen event then you know better! Even though a simple fishing rod is not exactly a Dragon Sword it can be effectively used for fighting, it can even kill! Fearless warriors showed their skills with this unusual weapon in a merciless battle which was eventually won by the  Human side. The victorious Humans received a reward of 3500 Valour while the  Magmar participants received 1750 Valour. In addition, everyone who took part in the “rehearsal battle” at the beginning received 500 Valour.

Fishermen are known to be peaceful inhabitants of Faeo, sitting on the banks of picturesque rivers and lakes waiting quietly for fish to bite. But in such a bellicose world it is not easy to lead a peaceful life and the fishermen of Faeo have learned to use their fishing rods as weapons should they be attacked by some evil monster or a bloodthirsty member of the enemy race.

Now is your chance to show your skill in using your fishing rod - not for catching fish but for fighting in a real battle. The commanders are calling all fishermen of Faeo to the Malleable Badlands. Will the  Human fishermen be stronger or will victory smile on the  Magmar fishermen? By fighting alongside your commanders you can show what fishermen can do for the honor of their race and you can gain a Valour reward.

You will be able to wear all your armour but no weapons will be allowed except for your grey fishing rod. This is a fight for fishermen, not for monsters, so you should leave your summons and steads at home.

The event Fearlessly Fighting Fishermen is for all fishermen up to level 10. It will take place on Wednesday, 17:00 Faeo time at the Malleable Badlands. Go to the  Baurvill Hamlet or the  Settlement of Faytir and pick the Malleable Badlands as your destination.

Erifarius has carried out his threat: he has gathered his  Human warriors around him and led them right to the city square of the  Magmar capital Dartrong.

Since the Magmars had been warned, a large number of their warriors came to their city square to protect their capital and their nation. An Epic Battle began that will make its way into the history books of Faeo. The Magmars had some help from the  Dartrong Guards but  Erifarius and his Human army turned out to be stronger and since all Magmarian calls to their dragon  Striagorn for help remained unanswered, the Human nation were eventually able to celebrate a great victory.

All  Human warriors who helped win this possibly decisive battle in the eternal war between the races of Faeo have received 5000 Valour.  Magmars who tried their best to prevent an embarrassing defeat in the heart of their own capital have received 2500 Valour.
