A long time ago, the diary of a wanderer fell into the hands of a wise man, who was astonished to read about lands of abundance, boundless seas and giant birds. According to the wanderer, one of the birds "was reminiscent of dragons, the other had wings as white as snow." What were these writings all about? More importantly, where were the lands they spoke of? Described in the diary were the regions of Grand Fort in Ogriy and Faytvor in Khair. Grand Fort consists of the Castle, Grand Fort Suburbs, Grand Fort Harbour, Luan Coasts and Gryphon Crossing. Faytvor is made up of the Castle, Faytvor Suburbs, Wyvern Crossing and, leading to the sea, the Ancestral Mountains and Terror Wharf. Nowadays, every citizen of Faeo can visit these lands. Reliable sources confirm the lands are rich, the flora wild and the wildlife varied. Nature spared no expense in filling these lands with resources. But anyone who goes there must keep a sharp look out, because dangerous beasts roam the abundant lands: Phitzells, Krogans, Gargoyles have all been spotted there and numerous banished and bitter mercenaries, Outcasts, also wander the lands.
Intriguingly, the castles block the route to some of the regions and warriors can only reach the regions by paying for the services of Navigator Luran, in Gryphon Crossing, and Navigator Vezur, in Wyvern Crossing. It is the navigators who control the "giant birds," spoken of by the ancient wanderer. Humans can reach Grand Fort from the Wasteland of Rest and Magmars can make it to Faytvor from the Skies above the Forgotten Graves. But don't rush to break down the castle gates - they are not yet open to warriors.

Dear players!
Your attribute counting your enemy race kills has been transferred to your character's internal information under the title of Kill count.
All new kills, so-called scalps, will be counted from 0 and shown in your character's open information.
Old scalps can be used as before - for quests, for valour etc.
The changes have been made to allow for technical changes and developments.
Your attribute has not been deleted or reset! It has simply been hidden from your public information. You can still your old scalp count in the personal information of your character, via your character backpack.

This afternoon Chaos will once more try to invade the world of Faeo! Gungls and their UyarrMO leaders are planning to sweep into Faeo from 13:00 Faeo time. Humans and Magmars must find them and rip out their hearts. Your work in destroying Chaos will not go unnoticed - the Dragons of Faeo have promised to reward any warrior who brings a Gungl Heart and lays it at their feet. For the head of an UyarrMO you can expect a little something for your own head...!
UPDATE: After a long, drawn-out battle, the Army of Chaos was defeated, the General of Chaos and his junior officers were killed, as were countless numbers of Gungl soldiers. The last and most numerous regiment of Chaos was wiped out by Magmars and Humans, led by STRIAGORN, on the Plateau of Silence. The remaining dishevelled Gungl Soldiers are currently being mopped up by the brave warriors of Faeo, while STRIGORN added the bodies of dead Gungls and UyarrMO to his barbeque, mmm, crispy!
The Dragons have confirmed that all those who took war trophies from the battles can exchange them for rewards:
The Dragons explained that with the start of a new month, the recording of Human and Magmar victories on the battlefields will begin again, and the name of the victorious race will emerge by the next Full Moon.

Once again, swords will clash, bodies will fall and the Magmar and Human races will fight for the right for their dragon to lead the masses against the invasion of Chaos tomorrow. The 300 warriors from each race who have proven their patriotic fervour by killing the most Gungl Scouts over the past week will be given access to the Plateau of Silence battlefield at 18:00 server time on the 11th January 2009. Make sure you are there!

The Dragons have been carefully observing the efforts of Humans and Magmars on the battlefield over the past month and have concluded that the Human foot soldiers have proven themselves superior to their Magmar counterparts. As such, they will receive the greater blessing from their protector, the mighty Erifarius. Today, from 16:00 Faeo time, the dragons will wait for the warriors of their race, who have achieved the rank of at least Fighter, in the Foothills of the Chions Mountains and Hell's Pass, in to order to bless them and boost their attributes in battle. The battlefield victory counter has been suspended and will be reset after Chaos' army has been repelled.
Who needs brains when you've got brawn?! Well, actually, our level 5 and above warriors now have a problem to solve which requires a little bit of grey matter. Many different creatures live in our world: some are distinguished by their exceptional strength, others by their minds, and yet more by their pure beauty. Any one of them can end up in a sticky situation in need of another's assistance. Trainers Kurdgard and Shimmoor are in just such a situation at the moment. They don't earn much, but have been saving every week to achieve their dream - a riding beast! But, sadly, the beastmasters are refusing to sell to the trainers, claiming they don't know the fundamental rules and information required for caring for the beasts. The trainers are so upset! They simply don't have the brain to learn what they need to know. Just one look at the front cover of a book causes palpitations. Kurdgard and Shimmoor want your help in buying a mount. If you succeed, they've promised to teach you the secret super-blow, Strength of Giant, which will give you a great advantage in battle! Set to, warrior! N.B.: The reward for this quest is the secret super-blow, Strength of Giant, which has previously been available through collecting pages. Those who already have the super-blow can still do the quest for the experience.

Warriors! Your Dragons have called upon you to take decisive action! Chaos is preparing its next invasion of Faeo and has begun reconnaissance of our forces' positions and strengths. Chaos has already sent hundreds of Gungl Scouts into our world to gather intelligence. The Dragons want you to take part in an operation to eliminate these enemy spies and halt the invasion of Faeo by Chaos' army, led by General UyarrMO!
Once you have accepted the mission from the Dragons, you will need to track down and destroy the enemy scouts who can be found across the whole of Faeo. Once you have killed a Gungl, you will receive his hatchet as proof of your victory. Destroy as many Gungl Scouts as possible by the 11th January, when you will be able to present the hatchets to your Dragon, showing him your legendary powers, and exchange them for valour. The 300 warriors from each race, who destroy the most Gungls, proving their patriotic fervour, will be admitted to the grand Battle of the Dragons, which will take place on the 11th January at 18:00 Faeo time on the Plateau of Silence. Magmars will find their Dragon, Striagorn, slumbering in Hell's Pass, whilst Humans will find theirs, Erifarius, playing chess in the Foothills of Chions Mountains on the continent of Ogriy.
Have you always wanted to conduct a Faean wedding? This is your chance to be to do it. With the New Year and new citizens, we are looking for a couple more Human and Magmar consecrators to unite the loving couples of Faeo. If you're interested in being a consecrator, please email nosf@waygate-publishing.com stating your Faen name and why you think you would be suitable for this position by the 9th January 2009. The new consecrators will then be finalised by the admins and updated in the administration section of the forum. Nosf
