Once again, swords will clash, bodies will fall and the Magmar and Human races will fight for the right for their dragon to lead the masses against the invasion of Chaos tomorrow. The 300 warriors from each race who have proven their patriotic fervour by killing the most Gungl Scouts over the past week will be given access to the Plateau of Silence battlefield at 19:00 server time on the 18th November 2008. Make sure you are there!

   The Dragons have been carefully observing the efforts of Humans and Magmars on the battlefield over the past month and have concluded that the Magmar foot soldiers have proven themselves superior to their Human counterparts. As such, they will receive the greater blessing from their protector, the mighty Striagorn. Today, from 17:00 Faeo time, the dragons will wait for the warriors of their race, who have achieved the rank of at least  Fighter,  in the  Foothills of the Chions Mountains and  Hell's Pass, in to order to bless them and boost their attributes in battle. The battlefield victory counter has been suspended and will be reset after Chaos' army has been repelled.
 

Dear all,

As of the next update, the food required for your Luan Tigers and Battle Zorbs in battle will be increased to 15 pieces in line with the native game server.

For a period of two weeks from the update, players will be able to return their steeds and receive a gold refund. After this period, no refunds will be offered.

The glorious Underground Knights of Faeo, who have already earned the Medal of Honour and respect of their peers for their great feats, will get quite a shock upon their next visit to the Keeper. The Keeper has had an incredible dream in which the great warrior Agudar visited him. The hero, now a terrible monster, had the cheek to express his distrust and doubt in the motives and abilities of today's Underground Knights.

UPDATE: After a long, drawn-out battle, the Army of Chaos was defeated, the General of Chaos and his junior officers were killed, as were countless numbers of Gungl soldiers. The last and most numerous regiment of Chaos was wiped out by Magmars and Humans, led by STRIAGORN, on the Plateau of Silence. The remaining dishevelled Gungl Soldiers are currently being mopped up by the brave warriors of Faeo, while STRIGORN added the bodies of dead Gungls and UyarrMO to his barbeque, mmm,  crispy!
 

The Dragons have confirmed that all those who took war trophies from the battles can exchange them for rewards:

	Quest items 0/0 Level 5  0 Duration 30d This item cannot be transferred to another player! The head of a general of the army of Chaos, cut off in a tough battle. It is a trophy that is sure to bring you to the attention of the Dragon...and not in a bad way!

	UyarrMO Helmet
	Helmet  Universal 3/3  Level 1  10 Dexterity +30 Protection +30 Intuition +30 Strength +75 Life Level +50 Duration 30d Item becomes non-transferable once equipped! A helmet, which the Dragon took from the head of an UyarrMO general, struck down by an heroic warrior during Chaos' attack on Faeo. The helmet become the Dragon's reward for courageous fighters who defend the world of Faeo from Chaos and achieve heroic feats. The same Dragon endowed the helmet with special qualities, which allow the restoration in battle of 5 life points every 10 seconds.

    The Dragons explained that with the start of a new month, the recording of Human and Magmar victories on the battlefields will begin again, and the name of the victorious race will emerge by the next Full Moon.

Whilst collecting resources, players may now find themselves the lucky finders of some Faean delicacies (berries, beetles or crayfish). However, they may also experience a rather unfortunate sequence of events which leads to them getting an injury. The injury can be healed with the help of a first-aid kit.

You can get hold of one of these useful little first-aid kits by completing the quest Drunk on Blood, which  Samuel the Cleric and  Pymen the Monk are waiting to give you. The quest is available from level 3.

Glorious, gallant warriors! We take great pleasure in introducing to you three new factions in Faeo! Every Faean warrior has the right to join one of these new factions and to build a reputation amongst all other members as the greatest. The history of these factions and their emergence in Faeo is rooted deep in history and began after a serious conflict, the details of which can be found here, when a powerful clan of legendary warriors broke into three separate clans: the Night Stealers, the Red Axes and the Stone Lotus. Each of these newly-formed clans advocates their own laws and rules of behaviour which they believe form the true essence of a mercenary, feeding a fierce enmity between the clans. Although they have not yet come to blows in an all-out war, the clans have been in a state of cold war for decades, recruiting Humans and Magmars to their cause and turning them into professional mercenaries.

The main work of the mercenary clans is to complete the orders placed by inhabitants from all corners of Faeo. Read on...
