In remote corners of the Library in the Fortress of Captivity warriors have recently found books that were so far unknown even to the librarians. The books are written in a foreign language but from their illustrations every warrior can see that they must have something to do with rare plants, fish and stones. Will the wisest men of Faeo be able to decipher them? 


Search the Library for the Treatise On Rare Plants II, the Treatise On Rare Minerals II or the Treatise On Rare Fish II and bring it to  Pandrik the Wise or  Flavviy the Wise. They will be delighted when they see and start to read in the old books. In there they will find useful recipes and theywill offer to give you these recipes in exchange for the treatises:

The quests Studying the Treatise On Rare Fish II, Studying the Treatise On Rare Plants II, Studying the Treatise On Rare Minerals II are available for all warriors from level 5 who have obtained a treatise from the library in the Fortress of Captivity. Go to  Pandrik the Wise in Light's Edge or   Flavviy the Wise in the Settlement of Faytir.  For the recipes you need a minimum skill level of 240.
