We know you have been waiting for a long time: Today is the final day, today we announce the outcome of our
Clan Site Competition. We had 14 awesome entries and we would like to congratulate each and everyone of them: We had a very hard time deciding the winners for all the entries are stunning in their own way. We would like to thank all the participating clans for sharing their clan site with us. So without any further ado, here are this year's
Clan Site Competition winners:
A clan site that really hits you with its amount of knowledge and very useful tools. You can clearly see that this clan knows what to do and what their goals are. We love their way of making movies to explain stuff, motivating people to be active and take their feedback with a poll tool. This site is not only useful for the clan mates but also for everyone who just started the game and even for experienced folks.
Even if you are a Magmar, seeing this Human clan's site makes you want to join. We loved the schedule feature as well as the WIKI. The site is very easy to use and not overloaded. BoC has their own Facebook site which is active and running. You can also find a very easy "Apply to join" form where you have to answer a few questions. They also have a list of very useful links to check out. All in one, this clan seems very organized and the design is nothing near as chaotic as the BoC's name would suggest does.
And now we finally come to the one and only, the best of the best, the 1st place.
In our eyes, this clan site is amazing. It does not only have a very clear and beautiful design, but also amazing background music. It was created in a very personal and authentic way and makes you want to stay longer. The news are written directly addressing the reader and drag him into the application area. This site might look very thin but its heartbeat actually is the forum! There you can find guides, schedules, clan mates chatting around and much much more. This forum is the most active of all the ones we saw. A forum makes a clan site live and this one (once you get in to see it) is living, breathing and a place to feel welcome.
We also want to thank everyone who took part in our competition. Its idea was not only to give you great prizes but also to encourage our dear players to create something they can use even after the competition. A clan site is the heart of a serious clan. It represents your passion for the game and it also makes you known to other players that play online. But the real important thing for a clan site is to be active and not just look good. So we hope that many of you that created their website for this competition will cherish their work even if they have not won the big prizes. We are proud of every clan site of our players as it represents the same passion that we invest every day.
