Both
Magmar and
Human warriors love the thrill of opening
precious chests that contain wonderous goods. Anything can be in there, from the elixirs they need in their everyday battles up to a
Cerrador Amulet! But now something horrible happened to the Antiquarians who were going to sell them: A whole wagonload of these chests has been stolen. Try to find these chests and they are yours! But you might need
keys for them as well…
What ever happened to all those boxes filled with wonders and mysteries is not certain. They may reappear anywhere in Faeo. For example any monster or villain might suddenly find them among their possesions. If you are lucky, you might be able to part them from their new found treasure...
Once you have obtained one of these locked chests you will need a key to open them. There are rumors that
Chigrik the Thief and
Gloum the Swindler have somehow got hold of these keys and that they are willing to give them away for a few
silver coins. Find a little shop wtih keys in the
Glade of Dreams and the
Barrow of Sadness. You can obtain the chests from now until Friday, 11:00 Faeo time. The keys will be available from Thursday 17:00 Faeo time until Friday, 22:00 Faeo time.
When you have opened 10 chests of the same kind you will receive another key, after 20 chests of the same kind you will receive 2 keys and each time you open 50 chests of the same kind you will receive 3 keys!
Of course you can also just throw away the chests you find or sell them to any other player, but as these chests are filled with rare and valuable items, you just might want their contents for yourself. There are four different types of chests which vary in their design. Equally there are for different types of corresponding keys. The more valuable the key, the higher the chance of receiving a valuable item such as an Assassin's Battle Axe, a Cerrador Amulet, a Titan Belt and many other great things.
So good luck to all of you, who are finding Mysterious Chests these days: Buy a key at the thief's shop at the
Glade of Dreams in or the Swindler's Shop at the
Barrow of Sadness and open your own surprise treasure box!
