 6 Years of Faeo: Beware of the Dragons28.10.2013 23:08

Those warriors who have been around in Faeo for a long time will remember the good old times when the dragons  Erifarius and  Striagorn would appear on the Plateau of Silence in person every now and then. In epic battles supported by countless brave  Magmars and  Humans the dragons would breath their fire on the Plateau.

 
  
 

With the sixth anniversary of Faeo it is time for the dragons to come out of their caves and to fight for their race. Come and join them on Wednesday October 30. All courageous warriors are called to this extraordinary battle!
 


In her endless wisdom Sheara herself set up a few special rules to make sure that this battle is fair and fun for everyone. Summons and mounts cannot be used during the battle. The young warriors will be allowed to join the battle first, more experienced warriors will join later until the most experienced mages can take part. To prevent this important battle from being just a nice dinner for the mages everyone will receive a special amulet that will provide you with protection from magic.

 


 

In the schedule below you will find when your level group can join:

In this battle you will fight for the honor of your race, you will fight to show that your dragon has greater support, that your race is superior to the hated enemy race. But you will also fight for great prizes! All warriors who fight alongside their dragon in the winning team will receive the following prizes the day after the battle:


 1 Dragon's Blessings Amulet

 3 Strength of Dragon Elixirs

 1Amulet of Dragon

 100 Great Dragon Reputation (from level 7, up to 3000 reputation)

 25 additional Great Battle reputation (from level 7, up to 3000 reputation)

 The gift Great Dragon Air Balloon

1 Medal of the Dragon


 
  
 

And even the defeated team will not go home empty handed:


 50 Great Dragon Reputation (from level 7, up to 3000 reputation)

 5 additional Great Battle reputation (from level 7, up to 3000 reputation)

 The gift Great Dragon Air Balloon

 1 Medal of the Dragon

Please note: In order to prepare the Plateau of Silence for the battle it will be closed at 19:45 Faeo time and all fights will be terminated.

 
   
 

Update: The dragons called their warrios to the fight - and they did come in great numbers! Soon an the Great Battle turned into an Epic Battle.  Erifarius and his Human warriors did their best, but in the end they were defeated by  Striagorn and his heroic Magmar warriors.

Please excuse the problems that occured with the protection from magic.

Will the fight remain open to be joined by players showing up later than their­ level group? I don't get off work until around 2200 game time most days. I­ really don't want to miss this once in a decade fight because of horrible­ hours.

- If I understand it correctly it is going to be 1 big fight with everyone in­ there. - And you should still be able to join even if you "missed"­ the time gap for your level, this is just there to let the low levels fight each­ other for a moment before getting knocked out pretty much immediately by higher­ levels. - I think the normal GB rules with team strengths will apply,­ meaning yes you could get locked out or open it for the other race if you­ join. - And I do not know about how much the magic protection is for.

I guess if this can be locked its kinda pointless mid lvl players going.­ It'll get to their join time, be locked so they can't get in, and then­ if it does get opened up again it'll be at the point mages can join and­ you'll just get them pulling power and going in. Only fair way i can see to­ do this for all is leave it open.

The amulet only protects against magic attack for 1hr. Im guessing the use of­ magic will have to be employed strategically... with magic pots being better­ equiped later in the fight.

No one seems to have asked this question and I don't see it mentioned in the­ write up......are we allowed to take in our multi's to this fight? Having to­ choose which one goes in is a tricky choice for me and no doubt others if we­ can't.

Registration of a second character It is allowed to have more than one­ character on the side of both races, but they may not enter the same­ fight. Game rules (§1. Power leveling and using more than one­ character) Yippeekiay doesnt change just because its a Dragon Fight

It will be one big battle for everyone. Players of lower levels can also join­ later-

All the usual Great battle rules apply. so if one side becvomes­ too strong, the other side wonä#t be able to join.

You will receive the­ amulet as soon as you enter the Plateau. You can only use it tonight in Great­ Battles on the Plateau as it has been designed for the Dragon Battle. You can­ use this amulet several times, once per hour. Each time you use it you will­ receive the protection.
