We had tens of applications to be the first Consecrators in Faeo, but unfortunately we could only take 3 Humans and 3 Magmars, so to those who missed out, do not be disheartened, find a husband or wife instead! All the applications received were of the highest quality and the choice was extremely difficult, but we have settled on the following appointments:
 Humans:  Fabious, gutty_guy and Death Rose.
 Magmars: SecretSanta, Modema and Stefan The Beast.
The Palaces are now open and Rubaddu and Langri will give you more details about getting hitched. You can also find more information on Wedding Applications forum.
The basics are:
1. Find a future wife/husband.
2. Make an application on the Wedding Applications forum.
3. Await clearance by the Guards.
4. Write to a Consecrator, sending 5 gold and a copy of your application, to arrange a time and date.
5. Buy some rings and turn up at the Palace of Marriage on time!
6. Give the Consecrator the rings and wait for them to conduct the ceremony.
7. Settle down for a life of wedded, er, bliss!

| Death Rose, I am sorry if I have offended you but I just wanted to say the Consecrators were not picked due to their level, and I only used your level as an example. No harm intended. I said ''It's not their level as Death Rose is lv.3...'' not to mean lv 3's should not have been picked but rather because some people were saying you have to be lv 5+ to be picked.

| Danilus,no offence was taken, I was a little annoyed with the comment which is why i posted another myself. In all honestly, I was surprised when I got the letter saying I had been given one of the positions. I also did not mean to offend, but I had a point, any probs go to admin. |

Later on, we may recruit more Consecrators; we'll see how big the demand is to be married. People were not chosen based on their level but on what they said in their application and where they were in the world. We needed some of the recruits to be from different timezones from our UK server time. So it was a combination of the quality of the application ie: what was said, the reasons put to be a consecrator, their use of English, and whether they covered another part of the world.
We have kept all the other applications that did not make it though (purely becuase most of the applicants were from the same timezone) in case we need to recruit more Consecrators, and a note is marked on those who we think will be the next Consecrators. We did not want to recruit those who already had a position in the game yet (Mentors, Guards) since we thought it would also be nice to give other players a chance to have a role in the world of Faeo. This does not mean Guards or Mentors will not be chosen in the future though. Just nice to see new names for the new job in the game. :) |
