Update:
The world of Faeo now shines in new splendor. As of now, the amazing update is going life! Astrum Online Entertainment GmbH is proud to present you new monsters to fight, new quests to solve and new locations to explore! Please bear in mind, we are still testing the performance of the update and removing minor issues, so if you experience unusual effects, rest assured that they will be dealt with as soon as possible!
You should also be aware that your scalps have been converted into Valour. The new system works as follows:
1 kill - 15 Valour
10 kills - 180 Valour
30 kills - 570 Valour
100 kills - 1950 Valour
The eternal war between the proud Humans and the fierce Magmars shall be raging again with new fervor!

| everything here has to be divided by two :D also, "admins be careful please, and do not anger the players..." do you honestly think they CARE IN THE LEAST? players already were angry, did anything change? no, not really. Also.... "Be one of the 4 millions of warriors roaming Faeo " War of Dragons has 4 mil players!?!??!?!?!??! ...haven't noticed that ;) |

| if there's a major update I want play it until the update is live and fully working, cause a rollback where you loss a lot of gold, items, ... and you get repaid by some stupid potion who raise exp and valour, that I can miss like hell. So see you after the update |

| Admins, you should be really carefull. hundreds of Russians fled from russian servers to this one - fled from chess, long transferes, low drop, jaggernaut rubbish, no runes for bones and so on. I hope you were wise and choose only the good things out op piles of rubbish to make it a really good game. if you just give us a newest Russian version of the game - be prepared to mass leaving, fleing from that nightmare the game will become. |

The rollback last update was a response to the items given at the trade fair, which were places there in order to get people to paypall before the switch in ownership. People with the enhanced axe and MO caused a huge rift in the balance of power, due to the over-enhancement. People were selling everything they had underpriced in order to get the axes, and the battlefields were plunged into chaos.
the admins used the rollback as an excuse to stop people from complaining about the loss in they're new-found super-axes, and the drops which they recieved due to hunting monsters that they shouldn't've been able to hunt (a lvl4 killing lvl6 bats is a bit insane). This game badly needed the rollback. Although there were some losses, it was in order to minimize the damage that could have resulted from the trade fair.
Regarding the drop rate, I think it'll probably decrease slightly for green, and blue willl only come from chess pieces, not monsters. I think this'll probably cause low blue armor to increase in price, while high blue armor might even decrease in price somewhat (due to the chess pieces also being available in magish's palace, so you won't only set them from a lucky drop).
Each version on LoD is run by a different set of admins who are in charge of thngs like the drop rate and transfer times. |
