New magic items have been discovered which, like St Patrick's Talismans, will only be in Faeo temporarily. Warriors fighting level 3-10 monsters have a chance of getting their hands on these new items:
It's already been proven that Elixirs of Courage increase the strength of your blows in battle and that the Powders and Scrolls of Weakness diminish the power of your enemies' blows. It's hoped that in the future Faeo's Alchemists will be able to produce the elixirs and Sorcerers, the powders and scrolls. Remember, these items will only fall to hunters for the next 6 days!

Many know that Sheara's fragile and bewitching appearance is complemented by a huge inner strength and ability to subjugate to her will even giant, fire-breathing monsters. Warriors! For many days and many years, an Undead Lord has been sleeping beneath our cities, haunting our catacombs and killing the brave warriors who sought to uncover the dark secrets hidden in Faeo's darkest corridors! Not so long ago, on our City Squares, a strange wanderer in a dark cape was telling a story about treasures he has seen in the Undead Lord's treasury. This strange wanderer told us that some of the Lord's fearsome guards had escaped, but only a strong, well-trained and well-equipped clan of warriors could even hop to face and beat the dreadful creature that is the Rampaging Bone Dragon and obtain its treasures!
We could not believe our ears when the wanderer claimed to have seen one flying around the Castles of Faytvor and Grand Fort. We asked our sorcerers to investigate....and now we cower in fear of the castle territories. Even more intriguing was the wanderer's claims that he believes this dragon to have some powerful new items with him, items that are so rare, strong and powerful that people would do anything to get them. He was convinced that he had seen an incredibly valuable ring and amulet, which he identified as: It is possible that a creature like that, which has killed countless warriors could also be in possession of weapons so rare and powerful that even a King would kill to get hold of them! Warriors, do not wait! Gather your strength! Prepare yourself and face your destiny! We don't know for how long the feared creature will haunt Faeo's castles! Bring all that you have got with you! IT IS YOUR TIME TRUE WARRIORS, BECOME A LEGEND OF FAEO!
Esteemed and mighty warriors of Faeo! I bring a message from the Gods! It is time to write our stories down for eternity, so that future generations may know our struggles and the lessons we have learned, so they, too, do not have to suffer as we have. Such noble work will not, of course, go unrewarded, with the Gods promising showers of gold for the best chronicles of our times, which will also be preserved for posterity on beautifully crafted manuscripts, with the finest Golden Habus ink, in our library.

It's time to put your feet up and earn a little money at the same time! Every warrior works tirelessly, engaging the enemy in battle and going on long campaigns in search of adventure, glory and victory! But every warrior needs to rest, too. A short nap, a drink with friends, a chance to lay down the sword...
Even then, most warriors find it hard to relax without the spectacle of battle. Therefore, Givens the Landlord, of The Gurral'diy's Head, and Voluptuous Mary, of Mary's Tavern, have come up with a new show for all who want a little bit of entertainment whilst away from the battlefield: Spider Battles.
But don't think this new attraction is merely banal entertainment to pass the time! Oh no! You have a unique chance to cash in on the spider battles because every battle that your Tarariquon wins brings you profit! You can train your spider and increase its attributes, developing it from a regular Tarariquon to a Veteran Tarariquon to a true professional - a Battle Tarariquon.
For that, you need to feed your little friend its favourite food - tubemakers, which you can find by killing the undead.
So you can kill two birds with one stone: destroy the ghastly undead and keep your Tarariquon fed. How do you get yourself your very own Tarariquon? Simple. They can be found in the caches of the Palaces of King Magish, by killing Giant Female Ashen Spiders and, if you're a Geologist, Herbologist or Fisherman, you might find them whilst mining, collecting or fishing. Givens and Mary will tell you everything you need to know about the rules and conduct of battle. They'll even sell you all the necessary equipment! To battle!
