Clan Event: The Axe of Friendship, Part 226.01.2011 17:29

Warriors, the Evil Gungls in the Gungl Hideout have all been killed by the members of the most courageous clans of Faeo. Now it is time to start collecting the material  Ostap and  Soygura need to build the Axe of Friendship: Ore and Sparkling Ore. Collect these resources together with your clan mates and your clan will get Clan Coins for them. The more you collect, the higher is the chance that your clan will get to test the Axe of Friendship and receive a great Valor reward.

You can find Ore in various locations in  Ogriy and  Khair. If anyone from your clan managed to receive a Gungl Claw and gave that claw to  Ostap or  Soygura, then you can start collecting Ore. Your clan leader has already received 10 Clan Coins for each Gungl Claw that was handed in by a member of your clan. Now they will get another Clan Coin for each piece of Ore you bring to Ostap or Soygura.

Besides the ordinary Ore the artisans also need the rare Sparkling Ore. You already cleared the Gungl Hideout from its evil inhabitants, as this is the only location in Faeo where you can find Sparkling Ore. But be careful: You will meet members of the opposite race there who might attack you to prevent having to fight your clan in the final stage of this event. And who knows, maybe one or two Evil Gungls managed to run away before you killed them, they might now be coming back to their hideout. As collecting Sparkling Ore is quite dangerous,  Soygura and  Ostap will give your clan leader 5 Clan Coins for each piece of Sparkling Ore you bring them.

Humans can find a list of all clans that turned in a Gungl Claw and can participate in the second part of the event here.  Magmars can find a list of their participating clans here.

You can collect and hand in Ore and Sparkling Ore until Thursday, 16:00 Faeo time. The two clans that receive the largest amount of Clan Coins in each race will be able to test the Swords of Friendship. Each member of the clan that wins the battle between the clans with the largest amount of clan coins with will be rewarded with 7000 Valor, each member of the clan that comes second wil receive 3500 Valor. In a separate battle the clans that have the second largest amount of clan coins will fight for a reward of  2000 Valor for the first and 1000 Valor for the second place.

All members of the clans that handed in at least one Evil Gungl Claw in the first part of the event should collect Ore and Sparkling Ore and bring them to  Ostap and  Soygura who will give their clan leaders 1 Clan Coin for each piece of Ore and 5 Clan Coins for each piece of Sparkling Ore. The two  Human clans and the two  Magmar clans which have the largest amount of Clan Coins will take part in the final battle. Ore can be found in various locations in Faeo, Sparkling ore can only be found in the Gungl Hideout, which can be reached via the  Foothills or  Hell's Pass. No tools and no professional skills are needed to mine Ore and Sparkling Ore.

Great event concept. However most clans have members from around the world. Made it hard to get a good sized group together. Perhaps holding it on a weekend would increase participation? Just a thought.
