This was nothing short of heroism, and the Elders of your nations have decided to decorate every participant with a medal designed by the greatest jewellers and artisans especially for this event.

Some of the soldiers, drugged with fatigue after the battle, were also able to find some loot in and around the steaming carcasses of the Demigod Scorpion:

KingPin [11]     -Liqvidator- [11]

Congratulations to all of you, brave defenders of Faeo!!

Warriors! Every now and then, some of the particularly dangerous and skillful beasts seem to develop the uncanny ability to subdue and rally around them lesser creatures. An old and experienced Emperor Scorpion has recently evolved into a Demigod Scorpion, a magical process rendering this beast almost invincible and driving it utterly insane, but also providing it with the mental power to bend other scorpions to its will. Crazed with rage, the Demigod Scorpion has called a whole host of Scorpion Minions to its aid and is about to set out for a campaign to maim and destroy.

All warriors, novices and veterans are called to arms! Stop the unstoppable, destroy the Demigod Scorpion and its Minions, save your friends and brothers-in-arms. This cruel monstrosity is extremely durable and a formidable fighter - and don't forget, it has an army of evil and dangerous Scorpion Minions at its command! United you can overcome this wicked apparition, but be prepared and equip your backpacks well before joining the battle. Better to be safe than to be sorry!
It's going to be a very hard fight, the scorpion army is determined and prepared to destroy everything it  encounters. Many warriors have already put their lives in the way of this venomous pestilence and had to pay the ultimate price to slow this onslaught down. When you fight, cherish them, when you brandish your swords, remember them, and maybe you will be able to find their armour, potions and weaponry in the steaming and foul-smellig intestines of the defeated scorpions!

The Demigod Demolition will begin Sunday, 18:00 Faeo time in the locations of Sleepy Valey and the Canyon of Immortality.

Warriors, many of you have had the opportunity to fight a Demon Hound. You know how dangerous these red-eyed beasts can be. Even the most experienced hunters and warriors are cautious when approaching a Demon Hound. It seems, however, that a new spawn of demons is born. A few days ago, a hunting party came across a few Demon Hounds and launched an assault, but instead of fighting, the Demon Hounds fled and dived into a nearby rivulet of lava! After a few seconds they emerged again, smoke rising from the flanks, then turned the tables on the hunting party, attacking and maiming many warriors!

The survivors report that this new kind of Demon Hound is stronger and much tougher than their kin, steaming hot with demonic energy and hunting as a pack.
Sightings of Fireborn Demon Hound packs have been reported from many a location across Faeo. There seems to be a pattern to their attacks, so we now can safely assume the next targets of these creatures are going to be the  Vassals' Tombs and the  Thorn Apple Brushwood.
Left-click on the fight screen symbol  A list of current fights will appear. Click on the sword  icon to join the fight.

The Fireborn Demon Hound attack will begin Wednesday 17:00 Faeo time, the Hounds will reappear Thursday 02:00 Faeo time. Prepare to fight, brave warriors!

Update:
The Fireborn Demon Hounds have been defeated. Both the  Human and the  Magmar warriors reached their goals. After many glorious battles all the Demon Hounds were hunted down and destroyed.  During the second event, the  Magmar warriors managed to defeat a whole pack of five Fireborn Demon Hounds in one single difficult and bloody fight, a great and heroic feat!
After the noises of battle had died down, the warriors have found some loot near the carcasses of the defeated monsters.
Very well done, warriors!

Warriors, something went amiss in the world of Faeo. A group of travelers came across what they thought to be an abandoned tunnel. Well, they were mistaken. The tunnel might have looked forsaken, but it still was inhabited… by Minotaurs. These keepers of ancient Gnome Treasures were not happy at all to meet intruders at their threshold. The Minotaurs are all devoted to their task of guarding and keeping their treasures and regard anyone stumbling into their hiding-spots as a grave threat to their masters’ wishes.
After they had learned of other beings able to find their hiding spots, the Minotaurs have come to the surface to remove the threat. No one would ever have guessed the awesome vastness and complexity of the Minotaurs’ tunneling system. The dangerous beasts seem to appear out of nowhere on many locations across Faeo. They are attacking everyone at sight, their eyes crimson with rage, their fury so great that it is almost solid.

Fighters young and old, your nations need you! For the warriors of the levels 5-6, the entrances to the Minotaur tunnels are located in the Forgotten Graves and the Steppe Vista, where the  Reckless Minotaur roams, the levels 7-8 should enter the Gorge of Gondi and the Wolf Wasteland, where a particularly dangerous Sinister Minotaur specimen has been sighted, while the levels 9 and 10 should speed to the Ridge of Darkness and the Barrow of Sadness, where the Minotaur Moloch is roaring with rage and tearing apart every living being. You should prepare for the worst, warriors, the Minotaur Moloch is an incredibly fearsome and powerful enemy.
The fights in the respective locations are reserved for the according levels. Warriors of other levels may enter the locations and pass through, but they will not be able to participate in the battles of lower or higher levels.

The major Minotaur Menace mayhem event will begin Sunday, 18:00 Faeo time in the locations Forgotten Graves and Steppe Vista (levels 5-6), Gorge of Gondi and Wolf Wasteland (levels 7-8) and Ridge of Darkness and Barrow of Sadness (levels 9-10). Some of the lucky winners in each fight are going to be rewarded with an item from an armour set.

We’re living in a world of constant struggle, warriors. Everyone is aware of the danger, everyone is prepared and carries a weapon at the ready. But now a strange phenomenon is being reported. Some of the weirdest creatures of the Balluar Ocean seem to be gathering resources in order to brew a new and terrifying potion that will enable them to live on the surface for prolonged periods of time like their wood-dwelling cousins. Just imagine scores of savage Iguraons roaming Faeo far away from the coast, feasting upon the unsuspecting travelers! The Iguraon Farmer needs all kinds of resources in order to prepare the alchemic potion. Its properties are diverse, therefore many ingredients are required: fish oil, since the Iguraon is a water-bound creature, inferior minerals, since its plan is to conquer the surface world, and multiple herbs that will catalyze the process. As a preparation, the Iguraons have somehow managed to render the Iguraon Farmer's skin impervious to conventional weapons like axes, clubs and swords. Our mages and wise men are not familiar with this kind of magic, but it seems that this restriction concerns only weapons crafted for war. Some ingenious warriors have managed to annihilate one of the Iguraon Farmers with pickaxes, fishing rods and sickles and lived to report their success. You are therefore advised to attack the Iguraon Farmer with the default (grey) tool of your gathering profession.

The Iguraon was last seen heading towards the Wild Forest and the Village Angriyar, where all kinds of resources can be found. All warriors who have mastered a gathering profession are called to the Wild Forest and the Village Angriyar in order to fight the evil monsters. No matter if you are a fisherman, herbalist or geologist, your professional skills are needed as much as your fighting skills. The Iguraon is absorbed in its task, attacking you would be just an annoying distraction. But if you see a Iguraon Farmer, do not hesitate and hit it hard with whatever gathering tool you have in your hand at the moment, be it a fishing rod, a pickaxe or a sickle. Your other hand must be free, so your movement will not be restricted by a shield or a secondary weapon.

Only warriors of the levels 3-10 will be allowed to take part in this event, for the Iguraon will flee in panic when beholding warriors and mages of higher levels.
There will be a lucky winner in each fight who will be rewarded with an item matching his armor set.

The Iguraon Farmer Plague will haunt the Wild Forest and the Village Angiyar at 17:00 and 02:00 Faeo time. Prepare your pickaxes, sickles and fishing rods for big game, warriors!

 Update: Iguraon Farmer Plague13.05.2009 05:33

Warriors, you have proven that no spell or incantation can protect evil monsters from the wrath of your deadly fishing roads, lethal pickaxes and maiming sickles. You can now wipe the blood from your tools and don your swords again, for the Iguraon Farmer was slain and the Iguraon plans to conquer the world have been smashed.
The following players have been randomly rewarded and receive loot for their dauntless endeavors:

The recent events on the Plateau of Silence have caused confusion amongst the mightiest and most obnoxious of Faeo’s demonic creatures. The battles between the Magmars and the Humans have stirred the ethereal sphere and weakened some of the lesser Kroffdors. Enraged and eager to punish those responsible, the Kroffdors have transferred a huge part of their demonic energy to create a most vile and fearsome Kroffdor specimen: the Abominable Kroffdor. This being of fire and rage will ascend to the Plateau of Silence and wreak havoc among both Magmars and Humans.

When you come to the Plateau of Silence, warriors, it is up to you to decide what to do: you may ally with your enemy and stop the onslaught of a raging and seemingly irresistable infernal demon of unimaginable cruelty or you might use its fury to annihilate your enemies and to turn on it when it is weakened from the fight.
Sheara has sent prophetic dreams to the Elders of both nations to warn the Magmars and Humans of the Abominable Kroffdor’s arrival. This terrible winged monstrosity will appear on the Plateau of Silence Sunday, 18:00 Faeo time. Be prepared, warriors!

Latest update: The Abominable Kroffdor twice appeared on the Plateau of Silence and was twice defeated by the joint Human and Magmar forces and the demonic beings now wait for their chance to take dire revenge.
It seems the warriors of both races have forgotten their first and most important task: to prove in battle that their race is the most war-like, most ferocious, most dangerous race on Faeo. Yet most warriors decided to go for the Abominable Kroffdor’s horned head instead of attacking the enemy using his distraction. You could ally with your nation’s enemy and fight the demonic beast or you could use the demon to fight the enemy force and then destroy the demon. In doing so you would have destroyed the enemy of Faeo and, at the same time, you would have taught your enemy a lesson to remember. This deed would have been worth Valour and city reputation, but most of you decided otherwise.
The brave warriors who have finally inflicted the most severe damage to the Abominable Kroffdor were rewarded with the formidable Slayer of Giants Helmet.

Update: Level 9-10 PvP Tournament, Friday 16:00
The PvP event for the levels 9 and 10 is over!  The storm surge of two battling armies has calmed down, the wounded and tired warriors have withdrawn to regenerate and treat their wounds. The Magmars have won this very balanced battle. The forces were tantamount and the skills of the warriors were nigh equal, but after a long and savage fight the Magmars took control of the situation and came out the winner. The victorious Magmars receive 5000 Valour, the great Human warriors will be issued with 2500 Valour.
