Iguraon Farmer Plague, Fri. 17:00 and Sat. 02:0013.05.2009 07:20

We’re living in a world of constant struggle, warriors. Everyone is aware of the danger, everyone is prepared and carries a weapon at the ready. But now a strange phenomenon is being reported. Some of the weirdest creatures of the Balluar Ocean seem to be gathering resources in order to brew a new and terrifying potion that will enable them to live on the surface for prolonged periods of time like their wood-dwelling cousins. Just imagine scores of savage Iguraons roaming Faeo far away from the coast, feasting upon the unsuspecting travelers! The Iguraon Farmer needs all kinds of resources in order to prepare the alchemic potion. Its properties are diverse, therefore many ingredients are required: fish oil, since the Iguraon is a water-bound creature, inferior minerals, since its plan is to conquer the surface world, and multiple herbs that will catalyze the process. As a preparation, the Iguraons have somehow managed to render the Iguraon Farmer's skin impervious to conventional weapons like axes, clubs and swords. Our mages and wise men are not familiar with this kind of magic, but it seems that this restriction concerns only weapons crafted for war. Some ingenious warriors have managed to annihilate one of the Iguraon Farmers with pickaxes, fishing rods and sickles and lived to report their success. You are therefore advised to attack the Iguraon Farmer with the default (grey) tool of your gathering profession.

The Iguraon was last seen heading towards the Wild Forest and the Village Angriyar, where all kinds of resources can be found. All warriors who have mastered a gathering profession are called to the Wild Forest and the Village Angriyar in order to fight the evil monsters. No matter if you are a fisherman, herbalist or geologist, your professional skills are needed as much as your fighting skills. The Iguraon is absorbed in its task, attacking you would be just an annoying distraction. But if you see a Iguraon Farmer, do not hesitate and hit it hard with whatever gathering tool you have in your hand at the moment, be it a fishing rod, a pickaxe or a sickle. Your other hand must be free, so your movement will not be restricted by a shield or a secondary weapon.

Only warriors of the levels 3-10 will be allowed to take part in this event, for the Iguraon will flee in panic when beholding warriors and mages of higher levels.
There will be a lucky winner in each fight who will be rewarded with an item matching his armor set.

The Iguraon Farmer Plague will haunt the Wild Forest and the Village Angiyar at 17:00 and 02:00 Faeo time. Prepare your pickaxes, sickles and fishing rods for big game, warriors!

Warriors, everything not expressly forbidden is allowed. It is impossible to use weapons and shields. As for the rest... well try it, maybe it'll work.
